  8. HUge holes in the century series, The Voodoo would sell, I am sure. As much as I would like to see a 106, I think it would be self limiting.
  9. Wish I could find one for that price, seems to be a hard kit to find anywhere at any price
  10. Rich just throwing my $1.380 out there. As a canopy/glass dip, nothing better. As a finish or prep for decals, I have never had success with it, and I have tried several times. Ric
  11. You can pick up novus at Wal Mart and any of the better stocked auto parts stores
  12. Also, I would try thinnig down the purplish metallic that is out for burner can exhaust. I think this might be a good choice.
  13. An idea for the glass. Thin out paint. The iradescent look might be able to be replicated by thinning out paint till it is a wash, then painting the "glass" I had done this back in the early 90's with thinning down gold paint to spray on a canopy of a model I was building. I have also seen the iradescent shine on a model once, the builder used several applications of novus plastic polish. The cockit glass was absolutely clear, and had the multihued iradescent sheen. Hope this helps, and make sure you practice on some old canopy glass first
  14. I picked this kit up as a kid at a yard sale for a quarter, built and loved it. Felt like I had build something high class. Your model looks wonderful, thanks for the trip down memory lane
  15. excellent progress so far. How is the decking to work with?
  16. Weiredest thing ever, a few years ago I tried building one, cleaned the kit with superclean then prepped it with an alcohol rubdown. I could not get paint to dry on it, no matter what I tried. It remained tacky and even greasy at times
  17. I have the Shinden and it is superb!
  18. Looking beautiful. Seeing a real craftsman here!
