  1. Looking good John. The Late D model CMWS has been mentioned. This is what my CMWS panel looks like, apologies for the crappy pic. https://imgur.com/U4hSITi Keep updating John, hopefully you'll inspire me to get my mojo back and press on with mine.
  2. Shame he didn't have a look at the instruction printing team. Takom Apache builders will know what I mean.
  3. I painted the yellow stripes, the kit decals weren't too bad on the black missile bodies
  4. My Caracal set hasn't arrived yet, but I just noticed that he's included the "DO NOT GRAB" decals for the interior panels, they're not in the Isra set (which hasn't arrived yet either). I was sweating those, as Takoms "DONOT GRAB" decals would drive me nuts
  5. I did a test fit at one point, it seemed ok. I'm shelved at the moment while I wait for Isradecals and the Caracal set to show up. Also need the motivation to complete the Laser Warning sensors. Doing Kotare's Spitfire at the moment, it's a great kit and I didn't have to design or print any fixes (other than a 1/32 start cart and maybe the exhausts))
  6. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Simone did some amazing work on the cockpit upgrades.
  7. I tried this - I couldn't get the carrier film to do anything other than get a bit sticky.
  8. The Red Fox set was slightly glossy, a bit of thinned flat clear and weathering is enough to get rid of the gloss. A bigger issue was the actual colour of the 'power off' displays. They're way too green and need some toning down. Other than that, great set.
  9. Hopefully he releases them soon, I'm currently designing masks and decals and not enjoying the process for the smaller ones.
  10. Can't wait until the New Zealand version
  11. This. I don't understand the appeal. I wonder what an Australian boxing would have on the box to appeal to us.........
  12. Thanks for the mention John (if you mean me) and I appreciate your support. I think a lot of the major players are making a shift towards 3d technology, and you do make a valid point about the small scale enterprise releasing to market well before the big boys. I can foresee the majors having an issue with digital sales and how they would control the ownership of the files once downloaded. For me this was just about improving my own build and it kind of expanded from there, before I gave it much thought I'd committed to a wix website shop etc etc. The wix site is still active but I cancelled the subscription and am just updating the site with the products once I'm happy to use them myself, relying on "track me down". My marketing effort has been pretty minor, I have no aspirations of being the next Mr Verlinden etc. I've enjoyed the process of designing my own improvements so far but I think the interaction and peer recognition is more important, it's often a thankless hobby (lol) and if there's a few dollars to be made here and there it just sweetens the whole experience to a degree.
