    Thank you for your positive, thoughtful replies. I already have had built a scale hanger (VNAF 516th Squadron) to keep plane out of the weather.

    I wish to have built a 1/3 scale A-1E. Plane will be non-flyable. I can contract with a designer/engineer to draw up 1/3 plans at considerable time and cost. But as plane will be non-flyable, can plans be devised by incrementing up from large-scale RC plans? If so, can result still retain scale integrity/accurate appearance; if not, is there any alternative to contracting out 1/3 plans from scratch? (FYI, plane will be as a monument or statue in my backyard.) Thank you in advance for any advice or considerations you may have.
