  1. Imgur Gallery This was a commissioned build by one of the aviators. Custom marking decals, ejection seat upgrades, instrument panel PE, new sidewinder missiles, canopy PE details, etc!
  2. Thank you Dave, and thank you for the reminder- still a Marine! His squadron was VMFA112. I have an image of the markings but cant seem to put my fingers on it right now, might be on my home computer. I appreciate your help, the recipient suggested I just use the stock decals but I feel like that is not the right thing to do! Most of what is needed will come from the stock decals, just need the proper markings for the squad. Thank you! Dave
  3. Hi all- Building a 1/32 Tamiya Phantom as my first ever consignment for an ex-Marine pilot of the aircraft. His squadron markings are not available that I have been able to find ready made Looking for not only the decals, but assistance laying out the sizes, shapes needed. How do I go about this? Thank you!
  4. I would say YES! Looks great, love the totally "gone" background as well. I couldn't quite get that look on some of mine.
  5. Thank you Out2! I will do it that way next time, much better to have them right in the message
  6. FROM THE MANUFACTURER: The AMC DH.9a (Aircraft Manufacturing Company de Havilland design 9a) bomber arrived late in the Great War and was borne out of the necessity to find a replacement for the underperforming DH.9. Intended as a replacement for the 275-350hp Rolls Royce Eagle powered DH.4, with the pilot and gunner repositioned closer together for improved communications, the DH.9 was in fact a great leap backwards due in no small part to the inferior performance and unreliability of its 230hp Puma engine. This was my Covid build, first LSP, first WNW kit, first time airbrushing-anything! First time with stretchable rigging- what a dream product! The fit was super tight on this kit, I had to do a lot of scraping/sanding to get items to fit post painting (the interior). Propellor blade blade hand painted- very proud of that outcome. I have figures and dream of field diorama, but alas my 1/32 Phantom is calling me... Picture gallery here: WNW NINAK BUILD
  7. Hi all, new here to the forums and looking to contribute before I start peppering y'all with questions. Below is a link to a brief tutorial I created for using the technique of FOCUS STACKING for making sure all parts of the model/image are in sharp focus. I am happy to discuss further and answer any questions. https://imgur.com/a/WPQ2rn7
