  1. Looking forward to this Peter, it's a lovely kit, but does need a LOT of clean up on the cockpit framing. I have two of these and both have mould misalignment on the cockpit frame sprues. Better book a day for the clean up!!
  2. Looking good Tom!! To my eye that looks like a frame designed to carry two engines, like someone then said, "I know, why don't we stick a man and some wings to it"?
  3. Nice one Iain!! I am a massive fan of the '27. I have the kit, Northstar exhausts and the Begemot Stencil Decals for it. Question... My kit is a late version, so has the Trumpeter updated intakes and nose. I have never been able to find the answers to these two questions... Does the Eduard set for the intakes fit the later kit parts, and secondly, do I still need the Zacto parts, as I believe trumpeter copied his parts in their update??
  4. I really like what you are doing with this kit Tom... very nice work indeed!! I hope you weren't too hard on your dog?? I have just ordered this kit from Lucky Model, hope it arrives soon!! I would like to ask, is this kit a fun build? I am currently working on the ZM Ta152 and am not really enjoying it at all. I hope things have improved for this one?
  5. No worries Kev. Your build made me go and buy one of these today!!
  6. Just read this thread all the way through. It is inspiring to see such a beautiful result straight from the box Kev. Your work is an inspiration!!
  7. Great work Iain, I can see this becoming another of your Revell masterpieces...
  8. My canopy parts have the same flaws, that's the original ones in the kit and the replacements. I find it a little "strange" that the sprue shown at Telford has the four sprue runners and is distortion free, and that the "How to build it" book actually comments how thin and distortion free the clear parts are, backed up with a picture of said good parts? I have another two issues with my example, with misalignment of the mould halves on sprue's A and B and also a damaged wing lower section, where an operative has carved out a large lump of flash from the centre front section and taken a piece of the wing with them. I have emailed Airfix, and await a response....
  9. Thanks for taking the time to do this Peter, I hope to receive my set tomorrow,(Monday). It's a shame you don't do canopies
