I just finished this Hasegawa F-8 Crusader. It was a blast to build, but took me a year since I'm rarely home it seems. I love Vietnam-era aircraft. I used a ridiculous amount of aftermarket on this, such as a brass gear set from Aerocraft Models, brass pitot tube from Master, canopy masks from New Ware, and an Eduard interior photoetch set. I also used Eduard's afterburner intake set and exhaust set. Furball decals were used. I want more Crusaders now after building this one! : ) Here is the F-8 with my previous build. Amazing they're only three decades apart huh? Definitely an awesome man! First Crusader pilot to down a MiG-21! Thanks for looking! Andrew

Nice work! Interesting that some have deemed it unworthy to build. I'm a believer that anything is good if it's the only game in town. I have Furball's decal sheet of TF-9s, so if I end up with this now OOP kit, I'll be building one that's white!
