  1. For reference... Under the skylight, it looks pretty darn good me thinks. Here it is again...
  2. Hey Thor, I'm Glad you have RLM75 for FS36251, that's all the confirmation we needed. Thank you again! Looking through the FS fan deck, this is as close as I could find for #2 grey on Double 0. That would be the FS36251. Starting with a color chip to match really helps me. These are under the skylight. (Not much light available at this time)
  3. I forget who, but somebody was screaming at me about how the aircraft looked when it was flying a few post's back... Trying to get some sort of idea where the engine inlets start...
  4. And this is what pieces of that splitter did to the engines, they completely shutdown four...
  5. We are looking up at the apex of the wing, you can just make out the circle of the star, this splitter came apart after a flight to over Mach 2.5 The arrow shows the position where we are looking...
  6. Hi Thor, Thank you, Thank you very much! So what's wrong with building a F-21? Oh yea, this! All reference material that I've seen says, FS36307, FS35237, and FS36251 too. Let me compare notes... FS36251 is the difficult one. I was using RLM75 but I used too much. That would be my #2 grey. FS35237 would be the #3 grey. Once again, thank you!! I wonder if model paint can change it's color after sitting around for 30 years!
  7. Glued on the nozzle, then sanded the ring to fit the eduard nozzle.
  8. The eduard nozzle does not fit like the HpH one so... And being a resin mold its thickness is not even...but it fits better than the eduard nozzle.
  9. Hello to everybody out in LSP cyberspace... Well, we don't want the HpH nozzle, but it fits perfectly on the engine so... Cutting off the length of the eduard nozzle...
  10. Hi Ron, Thanks for stopping in!
  11. Hey OBG, Did you use a brush to paint the Valkyrie? Imagine if I painted the Valkyrie with a brush after all this? Landis did a SEA scheme, but this one strikes me as ugly... This is what we get for the engine bay, it falls somewhat short of filling the whole bay. Oh boy, here we go again...
  12. Hey Thor, Thank you! I think it 's the light bulbs and what they do to the colors that confused me. If you can match the colors on Double O, sock it to me. I have the Model Master color guide but I just couldn't figure out the colors for some reason. I'll take another look at the color guide though Thanks for your support!
  13. Hi Ivan, Thank you! Thanks for stopping in!
  14. This is guys on the shop floor having fun...
  15. This is Tony Landis having fun...
  16. Lee, thank you. Julien Lepelletier at Artstation.com for other inquiring minds.
  17. Hi Mattcour, Okay we will leave it as it is. Thank you!
  18. The front fit is good but the back of the panel needs to come down some... but you get the idea.
  19. Fitting the intake bottoms... The intake center section is glued to the wing bottom, so we put the wing in position on the fuselage, and scribe a reference line. Now we know how much to remove...
  20. Hey Ray, I was somewhat worried about those edges and if they would hold up and stay in one piece as they were sanded down. But they are solid.
