  1. Fantastic build. Just picked up one at my LHS last week. Will be referring to your excellent post while building it. Can I ask which ejection seat you finally went with? The kit seat or the Aires SJU17? Did you modify the Aires seat in any way? Kindest regards for the info!

  3. How does the intake look? Do we need Zacto to come to the rescue again?
  4. The actual props on the B-24 were 11 feet 7 inches which scales to about 110.3 mm. in diameter. The Quickboost props with hubs are very close to that, with the hubs being slightly bigger than 10 mm in diameter and the blades being 50 mm. each, not including the stub at the base for mounting. I would say they are spot on. Wish now I wouldn't have bought 4 sets of HAD Corsair spinner and prop blades as replacements...;)

  9. Thanks to everyone for the replies. And Brenhen, if you'd like the Loon replacement props blades, just let me know and their yours. Kindest regards to all. Keith
  10. Most piston/radial engines turn this way with few exceptions. I was not trying to be a know-it-all newbie but was trying to help out a fellow modeler with an issue that can be easily corrected. I even offered some replacement blades to be part of the solution and not the problem. Really.
  11. Here is a B-25 starting its engines. Notice that the props are turning counter-clockwise when viewed from the front of the aircraft. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=what+radial+engine+did+the+b-25+use%3f&docid=608044030302029041&mid=7C3841E69B528CF7AB477C3841E69B528CF7AB47&view=detail&FORM=VIRE Really.
  12. Beautiful build with two exceptions; the 2 prop blades are turning the wrong way. And the 'twist' or 'wash out' should have the blade flattening out toward the tip. The actual B-25 picture you have posted shows what I am talking about. Look carefully at the prop blades and you will see the 'chipped' leading edge of the blades is on the opposite edge of the blade. Not being critical but I thought you would like to know so you can correct the issue. I have an extra set of Loon aftermarket blades you can have if you want them.
