This will go on for years...questions on value in the market and possibility always of a reissue of all the kits under a different label.

Tamiya always has been a favorite- nostalgia factor plus the fact their kits are superbly engineered. I think the lack of better detail is a choice- simpler easier builds.

This resin bust version is a must have! 1000 made- will go very fast...best of luck to all who want it. Hope we get a release date or pre-order availability soon.

I've read every post on three forums about this. Richard has only said he is no longer employed at WNW. I was referring to Richard (or others at WNW) telling us the real story behind the closure which probably won't happen due to non-disclosure agreements made with Wingnuts ( if there are legal ramifications involved).

IF the company ever issues an "official" statement- might just return a year later or disappear..it's PJ's company- he doesn't owe an explanation- I guess eventually Richard Alexander wants to say something he might...this is why the WNW speculation is rampant because it's a fascinating subject about a kit company that provided the best aircraft kits ever done(IMO). I will continue to follow this "story".

Saved all the instruction booklets. I doubt the website will be gone anytime soon if it hasn't been pulled already. Wealth of invaluable info..

Dave- Great summation of the situation. I never thought WNW was financially shaky but thinking about it perhaps- might explain the constant delays of the Lancaster and 0/400 and the rash of limited plain box reissues in their last few months(to raise capital?). I really doubt PJ will just unload the molds and grab some cash. The company was his and all the work and love put into it by his great staff...I just don't see him washing his hands of it.
