  1. I had troubles with the fuselage fit as well. I had to scrape away quite a lot from the interior segments. A bit annoying, actually.
  2. Stunning! Can't wait till I see the finished build.
  3. In case you want to know what it could look like in Hergé/Tintin colours. Mind you, this is 1:48 scale.
  4. Great work! Only downside is me not wanting to post pictures of my efforts.
  5. I used Mission Models white primer over dark sea blue, works perfectly!
  6. My next project, pondering if I should paint it lime this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Explorers_on_the_Moon
  7. Thanks! Cut my own masks from Tamiya sheets for the first time. Worked very well.
  8. Here it is, with the decal sheet as a color reference.
  9. I used GLOSS SEA BLUE FS 15042 from Mission Models. Not being an expert I can't say how accurate it is, but I do love using their paints, and the result is in my eyes luverly.
  10. I sanded and scraped down the mating areas of part J3 and J4, and a little off the edges of J5, and snipped a millimeter or so off the tabs. Worked well, a bit snug but it works.
