Rob, thanks a lot for helping to spend some hard-earned cash!
I just placed my order for the suspension set!

Wecohe is missed. Their aftermarket stuff, especially the much improved suspension for the large scale Tamiya kits (!), have been excellent. Would love to get a suspension set for my Jagdpanther! Also, their customer service was top notch. Got lots of stuff for my Tiger I, and they helped where I had trouble doing modifications on electronics. Too sad they are gone!

Hope to see more of this build soon!

John, I had exactly the same problem long ago. I got rid of the sticky residue using GooGone. Hope this stuff still is available.
It removed the residue, but did not harm the canopy frames sprayed with Gunze paints!

Just placed my order at Shapeways, in smoothest fine detail plastic. Wouter, thank you so much for making this possible!
Now, if only someone would redo the resin bomb bay part of this conversion set...

I made use of his decals when doing my 1/32 Ju 88. I noticed that the decals are printed continuous, means, I had to cut each from the others around. No problem.
They have been VERY thin and almost didn´t show as decals on the painted surface. As I mostly used the small stencils colour saturation of black decals was no problem.
They have been very handy, as Revell didn´t provide most of the stencils.

So to report back. After some more digging and searching (everything short of the dark web ;)) I was unable to find any source in Europe that had the Dspiae in stock. So i opted to go for the Trumpeter (=Master Tools) single blade nipper (Item no. 09990), paid more than I care to admit (still less than what I see for the Dspiae on Ali), and took delivery of it today. My first impression was "oi, that thing is tiny". I sort of expected it to be larger, somewhat like a regular ("toolbox size") cutter. Then I tried it out on a few bits and bops from my latest acquisition, the Roden Fokker DR.1 (601), and must say I am pleasantly surprised at the easy of cutting and the quality of the cut. This is a revelation.

So thanks to Fanes and Wurzacher for pointing me in the direction of the Trumpeter / Master Tools single blade nipper - solid advice! Add a recommendation for it from myself as well

I also used Tamiya's cutter for years. Even bought a second one in case the first one would stop working, just as a backup. Then I tried the one-side cutting Dispae. What a difference! Exact and clean cuts that often not even needed sanding after cutting!
Just for fun I also but the cheap Trumpeter one. Works the same. Now the Dispae is the backup cutter. Never turned back to other cutters.

With not few Germans here on LSP you might consider to have German stuff proof-read, John. I for myself would love to assist.

I guess Radu is right. I also thought about an ammo container having seen the  hanlde on the kit´s instruction.

Seems it makes use of the same triangular attachment brackets as did the compass on the A-1. I had to scratch this in my build.

Flaps are done! I used the kit flaps, thinned them down a bit and cut a bit off each end, then glued thin sheet styrene to both sides, overlapping the ends to the original length. Sanded the trailing edge almost to a knife edge, then primed, RLM 65 overall w/ wood (Testors 1735)on the top surface, and then some transparent woodgrain decals from HGW. This was my first attempt with the decals, and I found them VERY soft and hard to use without ripping them, even doing each piece individually so the grain doesn't align across the joints. I wound up having to spray a thin clearcoat over them while still on the paper to give them some strength. That worked fine for decals going on a flat surface, but I'm not sure what I would do for a curved one! I overlapped the edge of the decals at the joints slightly to form the dark glue lines, then accentuated them a little with a burnt sienna pencil after the matte clear was dry.
