  1. That’s right …. and Revell did a rebox of it. I forgot about those. Kinda junky if I remember.
  2. As the counting of the number shall be three…… 1/32 Seafire FR-46/47 1/32 Spitfire F-22/24 1/32 Wyvern
  3. I’d rather have a slightly off-centered zipper than a yawning cavern ;-)
  4. I think I’ll try the Aires Hasegawa set. I’m sure I could add some shaped card stock to make up the gap. Thanks for the tip about the Aires resin!
  5. Splatman…. I would certainly be in for a set! I did find an old thread here where this has been quite an issue. If I can’t find something then I might have to crack out the Milliput!
  6. So I get the Dragon Bf-109E kit only to find that the “resin” wheel bays supplied in the kit have all but crumbled to dust; completely un-repairable. Anyone have any idea how to go about rectifying this? Any aftermarket options? Anyone else have this problem?
  7. Thanks for the reply. I realize that there is the engine difference (I think BI made in UK with Rolls Royce and BIII made in Canada with Packards) but I was trying to figure out if Phantom of the Ruhr was a BI or BIII as I’ve seen it labeled as both.
  8. Hi everyone…. Looking for some Lancaster info. I have the Border Models 1/32 BI/BIII kit and I’m figuring which plane to model. “Phantom of the Ruhr” keeps jumping out at me but I keep finding conflicting information as to whether it was a BI or BIII. Does any one out there have some good info on this plane? Thanks!
  9. I have been using MRP for virtually all my airbrush work (great stuff if you don’t mind the smell). For detail painting small areas with a brush I had been using Humbrol enamels as they cover well and level off nicely. However, my supplies are dwindling and some of the paint is really old ….. like 20 years! I need to start replenishing my stock but not sure what would be a good replacement. Any recommendations?
  10. I use Bondic UV curing glue. It seems to have a very slight magnifying effect that makes the dials pop out but not unrealistically.
  11. As yet, I don’t know which aircraft I’ll be doing as I’m still getting my info together. Thanks for the book recommendations though, it’s really helpful.
  12. I’m about to dive into the Border Models 1/32 Lancaster and I am getting all the extras together for the build. What I am missing though are some good reference books on the Lancaster. I can’t buy a whole library on the Lancaster but two or three books with lots of photos would be ideal. Any recommendations? Thanks!
  13. Does anyone know what happened to the 1/32 HpH Wyvern that they were developing? They seemed to be quite a way along in the project,
