Tamiya A6M2 Ready for Inspection!

Well, it's a wire! it does not flex, and it was a beast to attach. it kept slipping off. Maybe I did it backwards... I attached the tail first. Super glue was not holding. I usually use ez-line, but I used their wire instead. -

Please enjoy my completed Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate (キ84 疾風 Gale). I happen to love the late was Japanese aircraft and the chipped paint they carried on their aircraft. I use "rattle can" buffing aluminum as an undercoat and I use tape, steel wool and toothpicks to get the desired look. enjoy! This is an OOB build. I used a tiny bead I got from Michael's for the insulator on the antennae, which is ez-line. The cockpit is OOB.

After weeks of work, here is my finally completed Tamiya A6M2 Zero. It was a fun build. Not too difficult, mostly because of the high quality of the kit, however, attaching the wire they supplied for the antenna was the hardest part of build. Of course, the painting and weathering portion was challenging. Enjoy!
