  3. Hello Gents, Finally I decided to start this project, totally inspired by Master Airscale Peter,to who I thank for sharing his amazing work which makes it look easier than it is, I jumped in this new field with my total ignorance and many things to learn on the process So I will be building a 109, a F-4 or a G2, still have not decided but since both models share many similarities I have some time still to decide but will be representing a JG 5 scheme for sure, I took Jumpei fantastic drawings and scale them up, and cut the 2mm acrylic and ended up with the main outline, first step accomplished, next is adding the former sections, cheers Comparison with a 1/32 model now needs some sanding and refine curves cheers
  4. that looks simply wonderful, I love the camo balance, great mottling, great colors, exquisite work gazzas, cheers! Amtonio
  5. thank you so much for your words Thor for the chipping I mainly apply metal color with a fine sponge and also with a prisma silver pencil, nothing more fancy for the invasion stripes I only applied some black to the base color make it darker, then the weathering and washes will unify the effect, hope it helps, glad you like it! cheers
  6. thanks John, yes interesting fact but no idea why, maybe stock new parts came unpainted cheers some progress, props blades and exhausts stains on the underside, getting in last phase of the build if something catastrophic happens, cheers

  9. more work done, some different lights, had to use a wood stick to widen the windscreen otherwise a noticeable gap would show, it worked and now ready to paint, also filled the mirrors inserts which are not in the right position represented by Trumpeter, the sliding rear canopy will be a nightmare to mask, not my favourite task in modelling cheers
  10. Thanks Greg, glad you like her some update, now she has flaps and serial number stencil, the red seems so saturated in te pics but it is not in the flesh cheers
