We forgot to add THE two most important rules:
1. You are not allowed to finish you build faster than Erwin.
2. You are not allowed to finish more builds per GB than Erwin.

Now that Capt.Pierlot's Spitfire is done.
And the Mk 22/24 is soon to be finished.
 
It's time to plan my next build.
It will be the old 1/24 Airfix Mk1.

Appreciate that RB getting more comfortable with some aspects of weathering.
They can be Mal over this Pledge Floor finish it was easier to remove now the George I have in the GB it was over Alclad Semi-Gloss it was tougher.

Agree, its a beauty.
 
And yes Florys washes are great and forgiving.....

I think it's time to post a few pics she is getting pretty close to the finish line but the further I got into the build the more problematic it became.The canopy is by far the biggest PIA,the white decals (way to thick)and the exact position of the LG?The rear half of the canopy was removed checked for over spray and it BROKE again this time though I hate it got SG it worked and is glued in place.The LG for one the assembly process and angles could be a little clearer the front doors go way way out there mine are to tight( is what it is ) and the LG round stub pretty tight but should be tighter I have pics of the real one's hope I am close enough.The kit is not all bad just has the moments were the Almighty probably  is SHH.

Ok...
Did not like the build manuals suggestion to paint em shelfs where lanterns is supposed to be placed on....nope its Mals Way or the Highway here.....no whining here, were grownups, so do domething about this....
 
Took clear sprue, heated it up, yes old school to create needed material for this, painted em with transparent color, let it dry, then UV resin, yep the shape of american football, trim of excess sprueline, glued in place used Vallejo clear, and when dry, couple of white on the top of the laterns, created lids on top...
 
 
 
 

 

I have started another little 1/48 seeing space is starting to run out the Meng Me-410 with the only add-ons being the Quintas Interior.The fit thus far has been quite Nice I have even placed the copit and gunner section within the fuselage halves fit looks excellent.The kit also supplies both engines and look like they might be pretty good for 1/48 sadly I will properly close those up once built.I also have the Revell 1/48 in the stash to which I order my mask for it when I ordered this one's mask.Pics of work done thus far....
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

Some very Nice builds Sir and the Desert scheme is the one that pulls some strings!I can vouch for the Trump Zero in there 1/24 line is one of their better kits and "I know nothing" (Sgt.Schultz) of the MkII Hurri
