  1. I did the resin 410, and was pleased with the results. Modeling skills required. It will be interesting to see it. No matter what scale this bird is done in- the canopy is a bear. HpH did a reasonable job with it in resin, but it will be interesting to see it in injection form.
  2. Does anyone know if the wheels/ties for the Banshee were similar in size to any other aircraft of that time frame?
  3. Built this kit some time ago. Enjoyed it very much. Resin was a great addition. Also converted one to a Mk XIV. Built the Mk XIV it came out. Yes they take “some modeling skills” to build, but I achieved satisfaction with these builds. Good luck with the kit.
  4. This is incredible. How did you get the metal on without wrinkles??
  5. I would like to try to obtain an F2H Banshee. Is Tigger still in business? I wasn't able to sign into the email address posted on his internet site. I would welcome any information anyone might have
  6. Nicely done. Interesting aircraft.
  7. The paint gremlins always seem to appear at some point of a painting project
  8. Thank you very much guys. I have enjoyed using a number of your sets over the years. Be well.
  9. Besides the P-38 on my wish list, I am definitely looking forward to the P-40b/c, the Yak-9, and the Mc-202 releases that have announced.
  10. Very sorry to hear this. I used your Ju-88G set several years ago, and considered it a real boost to the in resin arts.
  11. Yes, sorry. I don't want to be responsible for a stampede!!! But, it sure would be nice of them to treat us to one in the real scale of champions of modeling!
  12. I see they released the J in 1/48. We must demand from them a release in 1/32 !!!!!! Oh well. It will fall on deaf ears
  13. The kit as it was issued really isn’t quite correct for any Ki-43 II aircraft. Mostly related to to the engine nacelle, carburetor intake size and shape, and drop tank positions. Aero Detail 29 does a good job of sorting out the differences. The -I variant is also covered, but there are are changes that need to be made as already mentioned to get to one of this variant.
  14. I was just on the website and there was a mention about projected 2022 releases, but I didn’t see this list anywhere. Anyone know where this is?
  15. Thank you very much gentlemen for the clarification on camber, as I am in the process of doing D-120. The photograph clarifies my original concern. Who woulda thunk this question be such a issue
  16. Pardon my dense head question. Are you referring to neutral camber as 90 degrees to vertical or as dictated by following the lines of the strut?
  17. I just went and looked in my library. I have more books on the 200/202/205 than the 109/190 combined. I think I can safely say I like the looks of this airplane. I can see multiples joining my stash. Anyone know of a release date?
  18. OMG!!!!! Will die and go to Heaven- no wait, have to build this FIRST!
  19. Really nice. The dio really captures a moment in time on a carrier.
  20. I used the Grey Matters set to modify the PCM Mk IX kit. It was a relatively "non-difficult conversion". Just FYI for those that have these in their stash.
  21. Will be waiting for this. Some nice color schemes for them.
