Okay, to help this become factual folks, I will throw myself on a sword and finish my Beaufighter conversion to a VIf nightfighter! Using the the very nice Model Monkey cockpit and radar/observation stations. That should guarantee something happening.

Finnish version had two separate engines and cowls. Did a build with original engine/cowl. There are some differences between Dutch and Finnish birds. Look at Osprey books on DXXI aces and Finnish aces.

I found the picture I was talking about on the bottom of page 24 in the Ali D’Italia vol 2 C.202 book. Maybe the face of the prop has the prop maker stamp on it, and the back side is black. Maybe I’m trying too hard to ascertain such a minute piece of research I didn’t see anything in Stormo about this bird.

I am building the new Italeri Folgore. I want to do one from a black/white picture taken in Russia. It is 356-1. I have seen a couple color illustrations of it in several books. My question relates to the front side of the prop. It appears to me that the color is either yellow- as the front of the nose- or the light blue seen on Cr-42 or Mc200- in the picture. To me, it appears to be the same tone as the nose. If anyone has any input, please let me know.

Tim, if and when you redo this, I’ll be inline for one. I was too slow previously in timing.

Tim, I am curious as to whether you have Harold’s molds for the F4U-5. I know these were originally Olivier Pinsolle’s. Just was looking at an entry about the conversion for this plane.

Very nice work. I too use Archer details on some builds- definitely a must. The Aussie scheme is very dramatic on the Spit.

ASK showed on this site that there were Mc202 decals coming last year. So far I haven’t seen a notice that they are being released. Anyone know any details with regard to this?

1/32 Trumpeter P-51B Mustang with Aerocraft corrections
Steve Eagle replied to Tolga ULGUR's topic in Works in Progress
Personally, after trying to use a Trumpeter kit in the past, I gave up on it. I did a conversion using the Revell D/some parts from other places, and got reasonable results. Tolga, you are doing a nice bit of work with this. Looking forward to seeing your final results. -

What have you done about the incorrect size of the hub /prop for the Trumpy rendition. Is there a AM replacement? -
Is the ZM Ta 152H-0 a fairly simple easy build
Steve Eagle replied to oyoy5's topic in LSP Discussion
The Ta-152 is the first Z-M kit that I have built. It was an initial issue with multicolored spruces. I have also built the Ki-45 and Skyraider. The Ta-152 was a bit of a challenge. I had to carefully dry fit and think through how to glue it all together. Follow the instructions. I tried to do things out of order ONCE. Learned my lesson. -
It looks like the Yahu set would fit my needs. The AIMS set has more than I need. Thanks.

Thanks.

I could have sworn I saw these offered by some company. Maybe only in my dreams. If anyone knows, please let me and others know. Thanks.

Wonderful work!!!

Good luck with the build. It’s not easy, indeed.

Very surprised. I would have really expected the 205 next from them. The 200 will be a very nice addition to this line though
-
If this from 2022, I had missed. What a marvel!
-
I would say it already is partially moulded and set up to have a 205 coming.

Que sera,sera- what will be, will be. As was said in a great song by Doris Day.
