  1. Believe or not we don't have any in South Florida worth there salt anymore, I miss being able to touch and feel what i'm buying before i buy it.
  2. Sure, i will PM you some screen shot of what i mean Its all about the resin and the machine, I understand that i cant do this with my AnyCubic but i can get better prints from it with different resins.
  3. It's my go to for design and printing, it does have somethings that you need to watch for , such has once you solidify you model or part you will need to go back and align your vertices mostly on the ends, it does not line them up vertically but at the angle of the face, F360 does not have this issue
  4. One question Tim, Was that done with auto supports, you can also change the density down to 30 from 35, in some case's the software over compensates supports, if auto supports are to close together i remove some of them, most the time a 5mm spacing is good. i have printed a small flat piece for support testing, maybe a 1/2" x 1/2" .01mil piece, put 3 at a time on the plate with different support density's and see which you are more comfortable with. You can also make your top point smaller .30, .40 this lessen the chance of breaking the part but you would need more supports, I am finding i always edit my support to my liking depending on where they touch the part. You will get it tuned in, hell took me a month, the STL's i sent you were a good tool for me (where and how do put supports on something this small and not have to sand off some detail)
  5. Man you guys have some good memories, I can't begin to remember my first build...
  6. Have had my printer for about 3 month now, I haven't had any warping issue's
  7. Your right Tim, it's no Form Labs 2 but for the price it will give you darn good starting point, your shrinkage is more in volume then dimension, there is some but you can compensate for that by doing a little math and scaling it up .0001 mm (<--not a real number) , when you move on to your next bottle of resin try the ABS like resin, it's a lot more durable. Your exposed time is twice that of Anycubic resin but worth the time.
  8. Where you going to display it, the wife would have a fit..
  9. Nice Bill, really nice! I have been print some stuff with Phrozen ABS like resin, A lot stronger then Anycubic's resin
  10. I always follow the "Representation not Duplication" which means if someone can say that's what it should be with every nut, bolt and rivet then you have done your best.
  11. Nice stuff Jim!, I should quit my day job and become a singer...
  12. Buy this, The 3D Club you get 4 sheets but you can cut them in half to have 8 for the anycubic, get the .2mm. The OEM is way to expensive, 1 sheet is almost $30.00, As far as changing i am a stickler, you should be able to get about 2 liters out of 1 sheet of film, but since i get mine from the 3D Club i change every liter. Sorry forgot to say, you get 1 sheet installed in the tray and a extra 1 when you buy the Anycubic.
  13. I would assume the least amount of contact points to clean up, with them all being on that bottom edge, a little sandpaper and your ready to go.
  14. To bad we don't have the STL files, could print them for half that price!
  15. I'm telling you for the price it a good starter resin printer, the test print is easy, now you have to really start think about how you want your LSP bits to come out when you design them, do i make it one piece or two.....
