  1. Interesting build so far, will be watching the painting process. Thanks for trailblazing for all that will follow with their own builds.
  2. I must say that’s a very tidy bench, Hurricane is coming along nicely though.
  3. Even my airbrush stand is homemade, I looked at one of the wooden one's but there just to much money when a cut down cardboard box is free.
  4. I'm trying to work out why I keep getting these little images, I'm not doing any thing different so confused.
  5. A little more progress over the weekend, slow going at the moment, any way undersides are painted light grey. I should have mounted the pylons before painting it but forgot so that's a task for later in the week, there is one or two small area's that need repairing but not insurmountable. Next up I need to finish the weapons and make the undercarriage legs.
  6. This is on another level, the P40 is stunning really looking forward to future updates.
  7. Great work so far with your joint effort will watch with interest. Stay safe.
  8. Hi Dekon, Hope you get back to the bench soon and the mother in law get better soon.
  9. So the last few day have seen more colour going on, I still have the underside to paint, the preshading is still visible in places.
  10. Wow that cockpit looks fantastic the hole build and finish is just gorgeous, I can only hope mine turns out half as good.
  11. So finally some progress on the Skyraider, so she has been preshaded, I'll confess not the best a bit heavy handed I found that I don't have a very steady hand on the plus side I can paint a great wavy line (maybe to much coffee). I've started to add some colour starting with the Tan. Not to sure if the preshading worked that well and as the green goes on it may disappear all together but less green will be needed to get decent coverage. I still have to build the undercarriage. I've also started painting the weapons. I hope to have both shade of green on over the next two weekends. Happy Modeling All. Sorry not the best photo's and you'll have to excuse my leggs.
  12. Great job on the leather look of the seat, could you not have draped the lap belts or one off the side of the seat to show more of the seat cushion? Anyway great job so far.
  13. Over the winter not much has gone on with the raider, but as the days start to get longer and warmer I can get on with painting her. I have built up the weapons payload is shown in the image above. In other news I have built the basic airframe of Trumpeters Mig 15 as a mule to pratice painting techniques that will be used on the raider.
  14. Just amazed at the level of detail and workmanship on show.
