  7. Here is a F-4D with one: with a Mk-84 LGB on the other side going by the size of the rear fins. Jari
  8. Here is an example of a mixed load on the same TER: a Mk-83 on the TER with a pair of Mk-82 Snakeyes on the i/b pylons. With another Mk-83 on a TER on the outboard pylon. Jari
  9. Here is a pair of F-105s with Mk-83s on the c/l MER: as you can see the bombs take up a lot of room so there wouldn't be any room left for other bombs. Plus normally they only carried the same type on the same MER/TER although there are cases of mixed loads. Jari
  10. How about Harv driving his MJ-1 bringing a SUU-16 gun pod to a F-4: http://www.gstatic.com/hostedimg/6cafee02dba59242_large http://www.gstatic.com/hostedimg/facaaa5879d66ddd_large Jari

  23. I think you are right that being a 2 seater the No Step is facing the "other" way and having a second probably resulted in more scuffing on the intake. Here is another pic, not as close up as the other one: https://media.defense.gov/2007/Aug/31/2000454766/-1/-1/0/070828-F-6911G-115.JPG edit: here is a brown F-15 and the No Step looks to be the "right" way: https://media.defense.gov/2007/Jul/27/2000465995/-1/-1/0/070725-F-5502S-203.JPG Jari

  25. Yes that is one of the ALE-29 pods, there are 20 chaff (blue) and 10 flare (metal). Depending on the mission requirements you could have all (30) chaff or all flare or a mix of 10-20. Jari
