Greetings, I'm David,

 My main interest, like many here, is WWII aviation. I have built jets, a few naval vessels, cars, tanks, popular Sc-Fi craft, etc over the years, but I have been away from any regular involvement in the hobby for three decades or so and it shows. However, my interest definitely returned after a hasty balsa/paper  (my first wood model, and it showed) P-51D build for a friend, who wanted to give it to his grandfather who flew one in WWII, Pacific Theater.

 I am amazed at the builds I have seen here while lurking the past couple months, true works of art! The craftsmanship is simply excellent! Also a huge inspiration for me to reach for loftier heights, so I'll have questions most likely!
