  3. Update 3 well the console is done and ive started work on the wider tub ive move on to the seat, i was unsure which one to use, but going on time frames ive opted for the earlier one
  4. well ive ordered them, so im going to have to do more over time to buy more kits
  5. ok i need help which seat do people think i should use for 'heatwave'?
  6. I've got a poccy somewhere (I'll find it tomorrow) with 3 aircraft from that sqn with green noses all different shades so I wouldn't worry too much
  7. Update 2 had a delivery this morning of paints and a 'oil staining' wash so ive added a small amount and done a bit more work on the engine ive also started the IP, however i have the Barracuda placards set for the cockpit so will be adding tiny decals over the next day or two
  8. thats stunning mate, well done
  9. i plan to do a few of that FG, up to now ive done 'Stinky' (Hassegawa kit) and i have decals for 5more in 1/32, im hoping the new Revell kit meets expectations due to cost (1 already on order - having worked Over time especially to get it) i think, this one will be HEAT WAVE!!
  10. ive got the images im after, well the outlines, but im struggling to translate them to a mask, the only option i can see is flip them to mirror images and print on the reverse of a vynil sheet and cut them out by hand
  11. this is the 'Heatwave' scheme i have markings for, looing at your reference thats a 'H' so no doubt at tribute to the original
  12. ive got the same kit and done the same thing
  13. there are a few projects i want to do but there arnt decals available, also id prefer to paint them anyway, however i have no idea where to start im guessing vinyl would be the best to use, but how? print them on paper and transfer them to vinyl ? if so how? print then directly to vinyl and cut them out with a blade? ive also heard of cutters but are these expensive? as cash is a factor or can i print to vinyl on a printer then use a non pc linked cutter to cut them? told you i had no idea thanks
  14. ditto, ive got a few and they are really easy to spray but most need a priimer
  15. Hi Guy's is there anywhere i can find out what P-47's were based at RAF East Wrentham, ive got the information for Mustangs but there predecessors seem a bit elusive to me. i believe they were from 359th fighter group and these fighter Sqn's 368th Fighter Squadron (CV) 369th Fighter Squadron (IV) 370th Fighter Squadron (CS) but which bird were at East Wrentham i dont know this is the only clue ive found http://abmceducation.org/understandingsacrifice/soldier/william-simmons according to 'little friends' http://www.littlefriends.co.uk/359thfg.php he flew 48-8596 'marryin sam' cv-p razorback can anyone point me in the direction of more information, or decals? on the subject Thanks Mark
