Hi Mal; Had some time to kill and i did some research on that plane and only found a color plate from Kagero book: http://www.hyperscale.com/2014/reviews/books/kageropf4upt1bookreviewbf_1.htm I have found no other info's except the picture was taken during Carrier qualification in 1943 The BuNo is unknown.   15. Hi Peter; I've been lurking the forums for a while. Your painting skills are great, Your Viper build is fantastic, you make it look easy. Your making me want to build the Academy F-18 in my stash... but i don't think i'm ready for it... But threads like your's are very educating for peoples like me who are kind of beginner in the hobby. Stephane

  17. Hi Mal; This is my first post on LSP (been lurking for a couple months...) First; let me tell you that you're an amazing builder, painter! I have been following your build for a couple of months (FW-190, Zero and this Corsair) and i have learned much from them. I really admire your skill I have some questions about Tamiya paint : What ratio paint / thinner and what pressure do you use to achieve that perfect finish? Do you always use the same ratio / pressure and last do you use primers? I sure will continue to follow your build on LSP Stephane edit: I just re read your thread... and found that you use 1:3 ratio for paint...
