  1. G'day Setal..

I'm after a couple of engines and mounts for the 1/32 Extra to put into my BN-2.  How much (roughly) would it cost to post to Australia?

    Cheers

    Damien

  2. Here are some links with an earlier version of the upgrade made by me and a build (resin upgrade) and a very good and most complete walkthrough of the MIG 21 LANCER http://gofile.me/2TLbm/gJ1p5oJ3 http://gofile.me/2TLbm/97HM8WX6 http://gofile.me/2TLbm/efobHDTL You have to be patient with the download since the files are shared on my personal server For the weapons I bought from Aviation Megastore the LDP pod and LGB bombs and even the PHYTON 3 (ISRACAST as I remember but not sure) The wing pylons I used the one from ZACTO MODELS
  3. The new weapons on the LANCER were MARTA MAGIC 2 AND PHYTON 3 AA missiles and LGB and OPHER guided bombs (MK 82 body) for the Air to Ground missions plus all the Eastern weapons present on clasic MIG 21. The wing and fuselage pylons were the same for all weapons but for the AA missiles the launchers were a bit different. Also on the fuselage pylon could carry a Rafael Lightening targeting pod or an ECM pod on the wing interiors. Usually we flew with 490 l wing tanks on the exterior and MAGIC 2 or PHYTON 3 on the interior. No 800 l fuselage tanks were used because they caused some trouble with the aircraft stability at higher angles of attack.
  4. I did not tested for the su-15 and mig 21 F but Im sure they can be adjusted....
  5. Next project is same upgrade but for the Trumpeter 1/48 MIG 21 UM to convert it to LANCER B (interior and exterior) than already have a KS-3 ejection seat in 1/32 for SU-7/SU-9/SU-11 but there are no too many kits on the market (I have done the project for somebody in 1/48 scale), Im thinking F106 - F105 in 1/32 but nothig is started yet.....IAR 99 (Romanian trainer) in 1/48 scale (full kit) is already 90% finished.....maybe IAR-14 in 1/32 scale (full kit) 20% finished. Also will modify 1/48 IAR-81 to convert it in IAR 80 (full kit). My soul project in 1/32 scale will be the IAR 81 with no skin on it (structure plus internal parts and systems) but most of the kit will be 3d printed and it will be quite expensive....is just for me..... And who knows....i need more ideas....and more time
  6. No ejection seat provided since are very good options on the market like black-box KM-1 or Aires. I personally bought a Black-Box and is looking very good. Also doing a ejection seat in 3d than cast in resin is a project itself. (I had experience with a KS-3 ejection seat and it took me a lot of time)
  7. Im looking forward for the EXTRA build......
  8. No the LANCER did not have a big spine....it was upgraded from the existing M or MF version and no extra fuel tanks were added.
  9. No, we have other projects in mind and on the table right now..... Thank you for asking.....good to know what is needed on the market
  10. Hello, I would like to announce that we have released 2 new products: 1/32 MIG 21 LANCER conversion for TRUMPETER MIG 21 M/MF KIT and 1/32 ENGINE EXHAUST for the TRUMPETER MIG 21 M/MF KIT Actually the first kit is a remake of an older version with new improved molds and wit real decal included for two LANCER C versions (the first one had printed decals) The LANCER conversion contains as a bonus the ENGINE EXHAUST Also we thought that will be a good idea to release only the engine exhaust since is very easy to install and has a more realistic look with the R13-300 engine provided by the TRUMPETER kit
  11. The cowl is removable. How I did it: I glued the prop with the cowl (with the engine and cowl mounted on the aircraft) otherwise the prop it will not fit with the engine shaft. How to make the cowl to stay on the fuselage: I have deformed the cowl with help of heat (not too much) on the lateral side to be smaller than the fuselage.
