  1. I opened mine, scared my self silly and promptly pack it all back up! Watching a dual build will be great, best of luck.
  2. Interesting topic for sure with no right or wrong answer. I pulled out my Roden F.1 kit and a WnW D.VII (yeah I know can't compare apples and ....) The Roden wings are virtually bare whereas the WnW has lovely surface detail showing the stitching. Go with the Archer rib stitching if you want to try the look and post your findings, I for one would love to see the result. Cheers, Chris
  3. Me three, still no word... Looks like he is not a regular on LSP?
  4. I have been away until the begining of Feb so the time delay is my doing. We had exchanged a couple of PM's and once I asked him for his details I'ver had nothing but radio silence.
  5. Yeah, I have asked him for his full name and address and what shop he would like the voucher from.
  6. I'm still wating on the infomation needed to organise the $100.00 gift card.
  7. I'm disappointed with your choice of priories....

Hi Ian, Looking good! I'm curious as to why you brush on the Johnsons Klear?
  9. Thanks for putting together such a great thread John, I have enjoyed every bit. (The 109 looks great too!)
  10. That was great, thanks for sharing.
  11. Nice, This caught my eye when looking at photos from Telford and I have it saved as a future purchase. I'm sure your build will tip me over the edge!
  12. I purchased one about 5 months ago and it is now my "go to" airbrush. I am using the larger needle all the time, it is easy to clean and well balanced. Only downside (really have to look to find a fault) is that the Krome is not finished to the same sort of standard as say my Iwata, but it cost a lot less too! The reason I started looking for a new airbrush was that I was struggling with the tip drying on the Iwata when spraying AK / Ammo paint and a friend lent me his one and I had more success. Still don't like the AK / Ammo paints although much better, but my usual Tamiya's spray great! If you are in the market for a new airbrush, then go ahead a grab one.
  13. I picked up the Tamiya Mossie on special about a year ago, when it was delivered and I took the box top off it blew my mind! Way more kit than I expected to be honest and it is now a stash queen. I may get to it, I may not....

  15. My thoughts are with you and your family too.
  16. As far as I am aware the issue people have with the gear is not the strength, it is the fact that there is a steel rod comming out of the top of the tyre....
  17. Hi Kevin, I've never bought an e-Book before (much prefer bricks & mortar) so I have a couple of questions. Can the book be downloaded to a couple of devices? I'm thinking my desktop and my tablet? Can any of the pages be printed out at home? I don't have a computer at the bench..... waaaaay too distracting for me!
  18. Great idea for working out the decal placement, much easier than my method.

At least it's not pink!... I'm still cleaning my monitor after that Skyline fiasco.
  20. I'm so disappointed to hear about the problems with this kit. I was seriously considering purchasing one but I have no desire to give out this much of my hard earned and then have a fight on my hands. This won't stop me from following your progress. Best of luck!

Nice Ian, should be another stunner from you.
  22. The FM Falcon is from ESB where as the Bandai one is from a new hope... who said that you only need one in the stash? The Bandai Falcon sure has some great features, but also has some strainge bits too and although it is a snap together kit the build I have been watching on youtube the guy is having to work extra hard to eliminate joins.
  23. Looks great. The Easy-line looks good. I am looking forward go seeing your new canopy and your thoughts.
  24. I love following your builds Brian, but I have to admit to wishing this one was over sooner ever since the Tigercat arrived....
