Exhausts are such a visible item on many WWI types (more so than machine guns) that this news excites me greatly! If they cover off all the WNW kits I'll be ecstatic - if they also cover the Roden 1/32 WWI kits I'll sell them my first born child!

As well as the Junkers J.I and Fokker D.VII, I think the Fokker E.I/II/III are easy to rig too - simply because there isn't an upper wing getting in the way!

By my rough calculations, there are about 100 different aircraft types covered by the Windsock Datafiles #1-167 (not counting Specials etc.) that have not yet been produced by WNW. If they decided to kit all of those, at their current production rate (average of four new kit types per year), you would need to wait 25 years before a WNW Macchi M.5 was guaranteed to appear...

Besides which, WNW have previously shied away from producing a kit of a type already available in 1/32 (hence currently no Camel, Fokker Triplane, early Albatros D series, Nieuports...), so unless they are currently planning on producing an M.5, I'd say that the HPH kit would pretty much remove it from their 'To Do' list.

vince14 got a reaction from Harold in HGW seatbelts: am I missing something?
Stick with them, Max. Once you've worked out how to use them, you'll never go back to using PE for seat belts.

There's a brief 'How To' about halfway down this page: http://www.scalespot.com/onthebench/p51tamiya/build.htm - I find it's best to use a small amount of White Glue to stick the belts to the seat.

And here's a pic of my recently completed 1/24 Ferrari 458 GT3 with HGW belts.

Yep, pretty much. Email help@wingnutwings.com with the sprue/item code number from the back of the appropriate instruction manual.

There's also a new company making wooden props - http://wooden-propeller.eshop-zdarma.cz/index.php?s=main_page - I've bought a few of their props.

You could try emailing the real wooden prop makers, explain what happened and see if they have any appropriate props that are either already damaged or if they'd let you have a couple to practice on!

I'll echo what others have said - a little extra work and you'll have a very fine diorama.
