  1. That's an elegant solution to a sticky problem, Andy- cheers! That one-piece casting is really quite a feat and spectacularly executed, but my first thought on seing it was, "How will I ever paint it properly? " You now how full freedom to work freely and get the most out of all that detail.
  2. You've got my number, Dave! I'm Marcus' worst reviewer- but I'm building a pretty nice model for him! Thing is, freelance work keeps popping up it's ugly-yet-ever-so-necessary head to pay our bills but keep my bench time down. Thanks for the nudge- I'll see if I can't post a teaser or two.

  7. Nice work, Andy- cheers! I live on Whidbey Island in Coupeville, just across Penn Cove from Oak Harbor and the Navy base. These lovely bastards come tearing over our house periodically on touch-and-go training at the nearby Naval Outlying Field- it's amazing! It's a good thing we have good soundproofing or we'd be deaf, as they're just above treetop level. I can the crew moving their heads in the cockpit! Imagine laying in bed and seeing three red lights banking in right toward you- I've never seen like. I've got my eyes open for a 1/48 kit, as you might imagine. Cheers! chuk
  8. You are a couyrageous modeller indeed, Jan- cheers on your marvelous efforts! lessons learned: If you poured a soap water in the sink - always use strainer - waste disposer ate 3 parts in past week I put small parts in a fine-mesh bag available at aquarium stores- never lose another part!
