I know that this sounds dumb, but how does the second canopy open?  I'm talking about the tear-shaped one.

I built this display from old Revell kits.  Like their first release that had the Block 10 smaller stabilizers.  I had to use sheet styrene and laminate the tails to make them the larger later block design.
As a matter of fact, our member Jack sent me three of the kits from across the pond.
I used Tamiya decals, no way I could have afforded to do this with 5 Tamiya kits.

Wow, I just looked in my in box. This was a build I did 10 years ago.

I don't think so,  The Typhoon, Tempest and Sea Fury all used the same bubble canopy. I think the Spitty fuse is much narrower.

I have E/F that I got last week at Sprue Brothers. It has all the parts to make a E/F/G model out of it. It has three choices for the nose attachment. It has the nose turret, two top turret, the two tails, all the glass, etc.

The Kate looked well advanced with pix on the internet.
I've supported Infinity with buying all their releases and will continue to do so as long as they are active.
I'm an old school modeller and these kits are a breeze compared to some I've tackled.
I guess people are too used to Tamiya style kits these days to keep sales of these types worthwhile now. Shame.
I really hope they continue as they are doing some great subjects for my interests.

Unfortunately I do think 1/12 F-1 is dead as far as new releases goes unless we are blessed someday with them going back and doing an all new 1/12 Lotus 49 or something like that.  A new contemporary F-1 thought I think is never going to happen.

I don:t think 1/32 is dead for Tamiya but only time will tell.

Looks outstanding! And for those that don't want to look it up, the A-20K is essentially the same as the A-20J, with the difference being the engines. The A-20G and J used an R-2600-23, while the K used an R-2600-29. Both the J and the K had a bomber nose, rather than the gun nose here.

Another neat part about the A-20, which harkens to us modelers, is the plane was build very modularly like our model airplanes. Not modular like a B-17 or B-29... the fuselage was build in two halves with much of the internal structure, then joined together, just like our models.

The oft-quoted statement that “the camera never lies” is just that, a total lie, which I’m sure is also “true” in this instance of wings and dihedrals.

An example from my own experience; when I did my Bf110G4 I went to extraordinary lengths to make as sure as possible that the FuG array on the nose was square and parallel in every plane…..not easy as those who have attempted it will testify. But come to taking pictures and……doh, the array looks all over the place! I believe this is a phenomenon known as parallax? Don’t trust photographs!!

To be honest I must admit that I have not previously noticed this 3% dihedral but only a general lack of dihedral as compares to most fighters.
In any case I have always had a soft spot for the Hurricane and will certainly purchase this kit.
After all, I to date only own the antique Mk2C. This new mold will surely be a big improvement.
    Thank you Revell

Yes, interesting, but that probably reflects a general trend in modelling.   I do both, in fact my original choice here, a civil airliner,  was impressed into RAF service during WWII.

Edit: for anyone who has said DH Mosquito or Hornet in this thread, the Albatross pioneered the construction method.  More info here.

Hard to pick just one (actually almost impossible), but my first thought is Mirage 2000.
