looks like a great kit to me, and remember you don't have to buy it, you don't have to build it, and you don't have to even show interest in it, but it's great that this was released, and it's great that it's a new tool kit!!!!! Now we need the aftermarket decal guys to get on with their end, and maybe a resin replacement cockpit!!!!!!!! Good chance I'll buy this kit and give it a go!

Then you are going to start on all of the other planes that need to be on the deck with this as well right? every squadron, and every plane, in every marking? and then the work on the full size deck begins right? with motorized and working lift and blast shield? You should have no problem knocking that out in what like 4 weeks, 5 weeks at most?

I can appreciate this, as my grandfather used to build and race model sailboats, but he also had some motorized stuff that he built back in the day, I remember driving them on his pond as a kid, always a good time!

Hey boys, I finished up this build this morning, I built this for a jeep campaign over on Armorama, but regardless I thought I would share here. Bone stock Tamiya kit with a few little accessories that I had laying around, I picked this up at my local hobby store for $10.99 on sale, so why not right! Painted with Tamiya paints and I used a vallejo wash. I went for more of the clean build, not the beat down and destroyed look I usually build to, and or try to achieve. Thanks for looking!

fantastic work, I have always admired those that build motorcycles, there are some cracking kits out there, however I like all the patience and talent too pull off the perfect paint required. FANTASIC!

Here's an idea for you boys, what if we all modeled one section and then put everything together at once!!!!!!! Spread that work load out, and go massive assembly, IE Boeing style.

if we all just ask our local hobby stores to get into the ball park, and they oblige, keep up on your end and help them out. Paints and brushes and chemicals are fine, but too many stores are going away because of the internet, sure certain things need to be bought online. My local hobby stores take care of me,and leaving with the kit I want, and or ordered through them is always worth the drive! Can't wait to see the progress you make the new kit.
