  1. Hello everyone, Well I've got to say stick a fork in me, I'm done with this one. I finally got the Zero completed and in the display case. This has been a fun build, and I'm glad to get this one completed. Now it's on to the next one, I'm thinking about a Tamiya Spitfire converted to a PR XI with an Alley Cat conversion set. Cheers, Brady
  2. Looking really good Carl! May I ask what PRU Blue paint did you use, it looks darker than the Modelmaster PRU Blue I have on hand but almost perfect for the German captured Spitfire PR XI I'm wanting to do eventually. Thanks, Brady
  3. Hello everyone, Well I've tried contacting Tim multiple times on what base kit he's going to be using and I'm not getting any response to my emails. So sorry as of now I don't know what kit he's basing his conversion set off of. Brady
  4. We'll shoot, I was hoping to get to use one set for a P-51 since Tamiya hasn't released a 1/32 F-51 with Rockets like they did in 1/48 scale. I'll just have to hope either for an F-51D or someone to make an aftermarket set of rockets and tabs. Thanks for the explanation guys, I see the difference between the two planes now. Cheers, Brady
  5. OK I may sound stupid here Jari, but I'm not seeing the difference between the two birds really. Can you elaborate any on the difference between the two? Thanks, Brady
  6. So does that mean if I got one of these and didn't want to use the rockets on it, I could use them to make a Korean war F-51D with Rockets? I really want to do a Sharkmouth Mustang myself but I'll definitely go for one maybe two of these kits. Is there anyone taking pre-orders yet? Brady
  7. She looks awesome! I hope to make mine look half this good. Cheers, Brady
  8. Beautiful!!! I love it. Cheers, Brady
  9. I've got to say she's a beautiful bird sir! I wish I could trade you your finished one for mine still to be...Lol. I love the WWII floatplanes myself too. Cheers, Brady
  10. Hi guys, Jennings, I'll email Tim and ask him what kit he's using as a base kit to start from, because he didn't tell me that yet. I'll get back with you on that when Tim tells me. Terry, I'd be using the Contact Us part of the Grey Matter Figures website to find out what the status is of your order. I can't say anything bad about getting an order from them, I've always gotten my order and I'm on the other side of the pond from them. Cheers, Brady
  11. I've talked to Tim at Grey Matter Figures earlier this week and asked him if there was any hope to see a Seafire Mk XV/ Mk XVII conversion set from him and he said that he's working on one right now!!! As of now it isn't going to have the folding wings but it's going to be better than what we have now, which is nothing. Cheers, Brady
  12. Hi Boys and Girls, I have some awesome news for all of us itching to do a Seafire Mk XV or Mk XVII. I sent an email to Tim Skelton at Grey Matter Figures earlier this week asking if there was any chance there may be a Seafire Mk XVII conversion from his company and he said that he was currently working on one for a Seafire Mk XV/XVII conversion in 1/32 scale!! As of now it isn't going to have folding wings like I personally had hoped but it will have everything else we need. Tim told me that folded wings may come as a different conversion later on, but we are going to get a Seafire Mk XVII conversion set sometime soon from Grey Matter Figures!!!! I'm excited to see what comes of it. Tim didn't say what base kit he was focusing the conversion around as of now, but I did get his permission to tell you all this information first. Cheers, Brady
  13. Sweet. I'll take one or two. Thanks for sharing Bill. Brady
  14. Thanks kuky76. It's been a long but fun build. Brady
  15. Thanks Brian, I got your email the other day and sent my payment for a pre-order of your conversion set. I hope all is going well for your wife now. I'll get you some more information about the Ramjets that I suggested for another conversion set later on. Cheers, Brady
  16. Hi Carl, Grey Nurse looks awesome. I've got to say I've never heard of using a hot towel on decals to get them to settle down in the panel lines. So I'll tell you that we both learned from how you applied your decals, just in different ways. Keep up the awesome work! Cheers, Brady
  17. Thanks for the compliments Mark! Thanks Brian. I really love it too. Cheers, Brady
  18. Thanks Dennis. I liked the field applied camouflage scheme from the 1/48 Hasegawa kit, but I wanted to do it in 1/32. I also like things a little out of the ordinary to model than the popular subjects. Thanks Kev! Thank you very much Adam! Cheers guys, Brady
  19. Thank you very much Lothar! Thanks Tom! Cheers, Brady
  20. Hello everyone, I figured it was time for an update even though I'm almost done with my Zero. I've placed almost all of the decals I need to make a Nakajima Zero and I added some field applied green to the spinner because some of the Alclad was showing signs of some cracking, so I covered them up with some green. I have a couple more decals to place then another coat or two of Future followed by a flatcoat and she should be done. Here's what she looks like as of now: Cheers, Brady
  21. Hi Guys, I still haven't heard anything back from these guys even though I sent them an email around a week ago. Brady
