  1. You're right Tench, Curtiss Electric symetrical paddle blade with cuff wider at the base. Here is a picture of the original Trumpeter propeller on the left and on the right the one on which I modified the cuffs. Hope it helps.
  2. Hello, If you look for pictures on the Web, you can find some old ones from the 40's. It is clear on these photos that the Army plane don't have a polished finish. Regards.
  3. I don't know the Revell kit, but I'm building the ZM one and what I can say is that it's time consuming due to the number of parts, and the fact that it is done to be assembled as an fully open aircraft. So, when you want to close almost everything, the fit is far from perfect. Anyway, with time, patience and putty, I think it will be a beautiful model.
  4. No problem for the publishing. Just the Gunze English Sky type S. Thanks you all for your kind answers. Best regards.
  5. Hello, Here is my first finished model for 2014. It's Hasegawa Bf109-K4 with Aires cockpit and Barracuda wheels. Paint scheme from the box with German crosses and nose decoration painted with home made masks. Not easy to do anything with the Olympic Games TV program... Next one will use those parts: Best regards
  6. Hello, I have in my documentation some pictures of P-61 on production lines and they clearly show holes in the leading edges. From what I can see, there are five holes on the position near the engine and three on the other position. Don't know what are they for. I think they are just covered with tape, and that´s explain the color change. Regards
  7. Yes, of course. Sorry for the pictures quality but with the rainy weather, I have not enough light.
  8. Hello, Here are the last pictures of my Ta 152. PCM kit with painted markings, Rutman propeller blades and Eduard dashboard. Best regards.
  9. That's the way it was but don't know why. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/archive/6/67/20070111180737%21Focke_Wulf_Ta152.jpg
  10. Last pictures before the end. I only need to add the antenna wire and the position lights. Regards
  11. Mirek, I have one question regarding the internal bulkheads and generaly all other pieces attached to the resin sheet. Are they at the right thickness as I remove them from the sheet or do I have to grind them on sandpaper to reduce the thickness. Regards.
  12. Just received mine today. What a kit !!! Will be difficult no to begin this built before ending the other ones...
  13. Well, we can say that's a oustanding work, but why not erase all those ejector pin marks on the inside wall before doing anything ?
  14. Allready changed the hubs color to black. I try to finish it, but there are a lot of little things to do..
  15. This blackwidow is awsome. If it's still going to be Little Audrey which is a P-61B-15, the nose shoulb be like the one on the picture linked below. http://www.maam.org/p61/images/Rambow58.jpg And it seems that you have some wear on the nose which let metal appears, and it's not possible as the nose is non metalic. But anyway, I will be happy to acheived such a black finish one day. Congratulation.
  16. Sorry again, but as the way you've placed the side star and bar seems strange too me, I have searched some picture of the real plane. From the picture I've found, it seems that you have misplaced the "S" of the code, it is not close enough to the horizontal tail, and that makes that the national insigna is placed too much forward. For me the right position is as shown on the two pictures I've posted above. Hope my explanations are clear. Regards.
  17. Hi, nice Jug. One more thing you have to do for your P-47 to be finished is to complete the fuselage national insigna. The insigna is painted inside the radiator exhaust . Regards
  18. Here are some pictures of the small progress I have made. I've nearly finished the weathering, added the exhaust and prepared the propeller and main landing gear. I hope it will be finished soon. Regards
  19. Very beautiful weathering and the full build détails are very instructive. Learned a lot about oil weathering but I'm not sure to be ready to try it. I have one of this big Beast to build as a french aircraft but with a NMF.
  20. Yes, I've got too big fingers and too old eyes for 1/72.
  21. Hello, The last of my kits, nearly OOB, I just add ingnition wires and Aeromaster decals. Regards
  22. Thanks for your comments. I have two more Trumpeter P-47D, A Razorback and a Bubble Top. The second one will have french markings and I'm still looking for a decoration for the first one.
  23. So I go on the transformation of this german plane into a english one. I have overpainted the markings with english color and paint the english rondels and markings. Only the red parts are décals. This is my interpretation of the two bad quality pictures of, this plane, hope you like it. Regards
  24. Just the same camouflage Colors more diluated. As my english is not good, can you explain the word : bejeezez. Thanks.
