  1. As a follow on, when the part above is not on the airbrush, the air is not channeled past the nozzle, so it won’t spray paint and air won’t be channeled to go back into the nozzle to make bubbles in the cup. I’m assuming you don’t have different sizes of nozzles for the airbrush. I have an HP-C+, but I honestly don’t know if other sizes can be purchased. I’m very happy with how mine works and have other airbrushes to use if I need different nozzle/needle sizes for what I’m doing.
  2. Did you get out a magnifier and inspect the nozzle? Possibly a cracked nozzle? Are the threads of the nozzle sealed? Bees wax or something similar? Also, just an extreme point, when the above part is in place, does the nozzle extend just slightly beyond the above part?
  3. Yes, WOW! Gilles, are you using a regular soldering iron? Or resistance soldering? Dave
  4. Thanks, Max. At least I don’t have Mike’s problem.
  5. I think closer to 26'-9". Would definitely be a show piece in your house.
  6. Hi Max, thanks for asking. Soon. We were traveling for Christmas, got home with whatever colds/respiratory thing that is floating around. Didn't feel like doing much for a few days. I got about a day to start back modeling and then it was time for the wife's knee replacement surgery (9th). So, the notebook has been residing at the end of the dining table so I wouldn't have to go up and down when she wanted something, etc. But that doesn't mean physical modeling is being done. Throw in about 6" of snow with single digit temperatures last week. She's doing well on PT and I'm thinking that perhaps I'll get to spending time upstairs in my 'office'.
  7. I have to agree with Pete, they don't fit what I need in a vehicle. The closest is some sort of chargeable hybrid. In our Christmas travels, our son who has a chargeable hybrid was disappointed that the vrbo place we rented together didn't even have an outside 110V outlet to plug into to charge. And there weren't any charging stations close.
  8. Ouch, I know how that feels (rib). In 2000 I slipped and fell on a project site (Eastern Oregon coincidentally ), curled my head to protect it and curled the right arm to protect the digital camera I was carrying (Sony with floppy disk). I got up figuring I'd feel it in the morning. I didn't realize I had cracked a rib until the next morning in the hotel after showering. I sneezed and probably finished fracturing it. I think everyone in the hotel must have heard me.
  9. Release sometime late 2024 or 2025.
  10. Just got an email, it’s a 109K-4.
  11. Same here, I got the Fw190A-8R2 conversion set from them. I my Fw190 thread in the Operation Overlord GB.
  12. Well, as commented by someone(s) in FB, the only place in the country that has a hotel with conference rooms that could hold everyone in one structure is probably Las Vegas. As noted, the hotel at the conference center only has 240 rooms total. Even if everyone had played by the rules, there probably would still be folks who got in an uproar about not having a room in the conference center hotel. The uproar is mostly about the folks who wanted a room at the conference center hotel. Folks just don't seem to understand that quite a lot of hotel locations just don't have that many rooms (800-1000). If you go with the flow and pick an alternate location, it isn't that bad. The last two NATS we've used an alternate location that was within a mile or two of the conference center. My wife has been going along and we do other things and if she wants to do something else, she'll drop me off at the show and pick me up later. And those alternate locations are usually less expensive. I'm wondering if the fact that the Republican National Convention is in Milwaukee the 15th-18th is slightly gumming up the works. Madison is a little over an hour away. And the fact that AirVenture is the following week (Starts the 22nd I believe). It's about two hours to Oshkosh. Fortunately, the MLB AllStar game isn't in Milwaukee this year. The AllStar game is the 16th.
  13. I just saw something from Jeff Herne on FB. It seems that folks were calling the hotel claiming to be part of the organization and reserving rooms. This was going on back before San Marcos last year. It appears that some folks were bragging about it at San Marcos. Jeff said that he, as the convention chairman can't get a room either. I guess, technically, if someone is a member of IPMS they could claim to be 'part of the organization', but Really? The next phase of rooms is when the New Embassy Suites opens in June.
  14. I thought I changed the dates too, but it didn't catch. No problem.
  15. Been watching that too. I don't have any idea how many rooms were reserved in each hotel. IIRC, it didn't take long for the main hotel to sell out last year too. And I have this impression that there might be a greater attendance this year. There are a couple explanations I could think of. First, with the internet, it's easy to book a lot of rooms in a short span, so if there are lots of folks sitting at the computer clicking a bit early to try to be the first in when it opens up, it could seem that folks got in early. 2nd, while the post said opening was 12 Noon Central time, you know how a lot of times in the US make reference to Eastern time/Central time (ET/CT). Perhaps someone out their slipped up and set it to open it at Noon ET. And that would appear as though folks got in early, which they would have. I was one of those sitting there at Noon and the main hotel showed up booked as soon as I clicked. The other two hotels did show available. I decided to have a conversation with the wife about her preference of the other two hotels and had lunch. Decided I wasn't going to feel pressured about it. After lunch I clicked on each hotel and didn't find any availability, but I clicked back again and Home2 had a room of the type we preferred. The catch is that while I edited the default dates, I ended up with a 7/15-22 reservation which is a day sooner and a day later that we were going to stay. But we're going to be tourists in the area anyway, so it doesn't matter. The wife wants to see a Brewers game and NATS week is also baseball's Allstar week, so the latest we can see a Brewers game is Sunday the 13th. Oshkosh is the week after NATS, perhaps we could run up there for a visit on the 16th.
  16. Well, this is from Maru Mechanic #45 And the cover of the book. I'll have to admit to using the Sand color in my recent build.
  17. And, when I had decided to build the 190 for this GB, it happened to coincide with SB's weekend discount on books, so I added a few as well as some from ebay too. I found a file that I think I can adapt to print some rudder pedals too. At this point, I'm not sure much is going to be done before the new year. Edit: I forgot the photo.
