  8. Outstanding work detail is perfect. Seeing that ac brings back memories, when it was a hangar queen in 410 Sqn in the early 90's. I was an Air Frame Tech and tasked to figure out why in would vent fuel every time it went up for a flight. Many a smarter people than tried but with no success. I had the fuel system schematic on my wall at home. Months of work failed test flights one after another. Till one day after another failed flight I had the fuel test box on it and I noticed in #2 tank fuel qty was about 200lbs higher than what should be in there. This tank was always kept full as it fed the engine. Everything lead to the L/H wing as it was always full when it landed. A red herring. The High level transfer shutoff valve was always on overfilling the tank to the point that it would get into the tank vent system which is at the very top of the tank. The vent system worked as advertised the geography of the vent plumbing alowed it keep the left wing full. We xrayed that wing and everything. Changed the valve, tank numbers were good, test flew serviable after 2 years of people working on it. On to the next snag. Thanks Looking forward to you next project. PS If you do a Seaking I'll have a story for that one to the tail number evaded me right now 4??
  9. Good Day Ron, I recently purchased the Fokker built version an amazing kit. A question in your build you said that you added rib tape, did the decal not already have the tape built into it. Could you elaborate as to why you added additional tape and what you used. I've never built a biplane before let alone a beauty like these kits. Thanks Don Chilly Manitoba
