  1. Hopefully see it then Derek My plan with this is to do the seats first, they will be a kit alone!
  2. Do it Derek, do it! Little seat update, have filled the air bubbles and flattened the bottom with Milliput. Resin 1/24th scale Martin Baker Mk.6MSB Ejection Seat by Totallyrad.co.uk, on Flickr Back has had the resin ground away, also note the flat underside. 3. A very tiny update but the engines, wings & tailplane's are on. Just sorting out the slight gaps between the wing/fuselage.. hence the tape, Using Mr.Surfacer 500. Also blown in the engines with primer, have a bit more to blow in on the top of the fuselage and tailplane. Heinkel He-111 H-6 - Revell 1/72nd by Totallyrad.co.uk, on Flickr Once all the seams are OK, i'll get on with the glazing.. then it should be good for some colour Really enjoying this build!
  4. Cheers Kev, I'm going to go get the Z out the loft tomorrow now for a gander
  5. I don't know, but from memory it's fairly basic? I'll get another Revell kit and copy the parts if I have to.
  6. Me to Kev, one of the kits I have here (there all at my parents mostly) I think when I do come around to building it though it might get some resin!
  7. I've made a promise to build a kit, start to finish. No if's, no but's, no scratch building just straight from the box! This is my choice of kit, the lovely Revell/Hasegawa He-111 So far, wings together primed and prepped. Fuselage together prepped for priming, cockpit done, wheel bays painted. So I just have to clean the joins and get them on tomorrow. He-111 H-6 cockpit by Totallyrad.co.uk, on Flickr
  8. Heritage have brought a conversion set out, never seen the eBay ones?
  9. Have to agree with others on the price, I think it is well priced considering what you get. I wish I went back to the Airfix stand to get photos at SMW. I don't think I will rush to get one, the Mosquito is higher on my list to get easily.
  10. Indeed, I say keep it as it is, it looks fine
  11. Iain, I would be VERY happy with that paint job... home right now mate
  12. The front end is looking good Kev,
  13. I was never a hater, but I did laugh when Nigel said that the HK B-17 doesn't look like a B-17! A shame he has left, hopefully he'll come back... the work he was doing (still is doing somewhere) was great.
  14. I can't wait to build a B-17, the weathering that can be done is great.
  15. This is brilliant, even in 1/32nd this is a small aircraft! I think I would of given up on the ribs to try make that many the same! Nicely done.
  16. I just googled 'B-17 wooden floor' and came up with this thread, I missed it before. I have just got Revell's baby 1/72nd B-17G and would love to know what is right or wrong, but I'm going to go along with a bit of both. I have this image in my head where crews would of made the inside of the B-17 as comfy as possible seeing how long they were going to be in one for and that could even mean modifying the floor to non-slip with different materials...? Maybe. Either way, I don't think what ever route you take would be wrong as there are so many different variations.
  17. Put me down for one, I love this aircraft!! (the Bugatti)
  18. Looking good Iain, can't wait to see it complete.
  19. Thank you everyone for the comments, sorry this is late too I have been busy with work I'm glad everyone enjoys them, it's a pleasure taking them! Peter, the Sea Fury was lovely in the plastic/brass!
