Ok so I am back at it again .I was not happy after closely looking at the upper counsel so I reprinted it a long with the center console as well .the one thing I am learning is that your first and second or even your third print might not be your best but you have to keep trying.
-
Well this one is done I am really happy how it has came out . The kit part for the sh-60b is completely wrong for a B .
-
So I am hoping to have this ready to print maybe tomorrow just have to see how much I get done tonight .this is a process that takes days if not weeks Todo just depends on how much detail you want to add .

Well it really starts with me taking a picture of the kit part and in fusion 360 they have a tool called canvas and you can import it in to the software and I use that as the out line .

So this is what I have so far have done tonight I made the final print for the over head panel in the cockpit .I am really happy with the end results

Here is some of the progress I have made so far . This is a slow going progress for me even more so than normal but what I have learned is that good things come to those who wait .

Where at?

This is a exciting time for me being able to build anything I want just limited by my skills and that a matter of time before I get better

Well it might make the model companys to think about how they are pricing their kits . I have been building models for the last 35 years and I really do think that 3D printing is going to change the hobby for the good .
-
So this is absolutely a new way for me to start building a model . Instead of clipping parts off the sprue of the kit I start at the computer using Fusion 360 building 3D parts . So far this is what I have done a lot of what I have picked up is from YouTube and with some support from a few of you on here .

3D Printing STL Files or Printed Parts? Where from?
Madelf75 replied to Aviacom's topic in 3D Printing
I am just starting to get in to 3 printing and i am slowly trying to learn some of the free 3D CAD software and i can say something like that you will have to hire someone to design for you or do it your self but you can always try cults 3d printing or CGtraider https://www.cgtrader.com/ https://cults3d.com/en
