  1. Hello, I just realized that the cockpit of the "Peten" improved is different than what has just done with the two front panels. Several flat screens are present as the AH-64 D but placed differently, references that I have is not sufficient, I leave this part of the pending job. An important element of the machine is the 30 mm gun. The set from Master is good but not enough, some details are needed. With the Flighpath kit, the cable cutter and the small back face can be used. The protective frame is of round section and the proposed photoetching is a nonsense. The end of the barrel of Master is very very fragile, I advise to place it at the very last moment of the assembly, here it is placed for the photo. Babs
  2. Hello, The walls of the storage bay are painted and glued, as expected not much to see but we can distinguish the interior of the opposite door anchors and rivets of the floor. The two front panels are a bit detailed, the one in gray is from Cobra company. One of the protective panels is in the deployed position, shown with a folded copper foil. The part in front of the rear panel is increased in volume, a small bag is fixed on the top. Babs.
  3. Hello, I guess you're going to add more layers of colors, we still see the pre shading too much. Babs.
  4. Hello, I had considered opening the storage bay, after that I added a frame on which come to close the door. The interior with some details of the surfaces, once closed, there will probably be little to look at all that, furthermore I intend to place some items like bags, RBF tags. Babs.
  5. Kind of machine that I like, I started the same but put in standby for a while. Good fun.
  6. Hi Dukie, yes the book about the Peten and Saraf is really good. Regarding the decals, nothing exists on the market but the current printing techniques on blank decals become exellentes, and then I will try to find solutions. I have the decals from Sky's 1/35 and there are really too few stencils, I think nothing recover except for the "Magic touch" badge if it is the right size. Thanks.
  7. Hello, I will try to make this project not so easy as there is little help in terms of "goodies" proposed in the modelling market. Normally this is to achieve an AH-64A upgraded as for the D to the equipment level. Peten is the name given to the AH-64 A, Matrix is the adjective given to the upgrade version. There will be a lot of appendages on the model, first eliminate everything that does not fit and start to put the bases of the different elements to apply on the fuselage. Faded or missing rivets should normally be completed with Micromark decals, it will be long and not so simple, to start with the rear rudder. Small parts like the controls to start smoothly. Babs.
  8. Three F-4 E(S). I started an RF-4 E, and it's already a lot of work. Thank you.
  9. Not really unique, at first I realized the conversion for an Israeli friend, IAF man had published the Facebook page with the pictures of the finished model. And then I decided to do mine. Thank you for your compliments.
  10. I hope you enjoy this unconventional Mirage, the Italeri kit is not so bad finally, it was a pleasure to build it, and there are still many possibilities in different versions and colors scheme. Babs.
  11. Mirage IIIc recce variant, israeli air force, 101 sqn. This long nose called "Tzniut" (modesty) carried a long range camera. Two Mirage IIIs wore this nose, the 498 and the 458. Italeri kit, with selfmade conversion, nose, pod lens, seat. Wheels and PE parts from Eduard. Engine exhaust and decals from Isradecal. Missile from Zactomodels. MRP and Gunze aqueous paint. Wip here: https://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=73457
  12. Hello, The end approaches, a specific detail of "Tzniut" is that there was no gun. The space is clogged and regraved. Sorry for not having followed the painting phase and the rest but what I can say is that the use of the paintings MR paint were of a great satisfaction, especially for the markings of the triangles. The pitot tube is from "Master", recommended. The next step will be in "ready for inspection"
  13. My opinion is that there are many predictions to attract the public to the brand to make it known and sell .... its two kits produced. I do not believe so much.
  14. Finally back. The price has risen sharply. When come back the Tamiya with NSI inlet and P&W engine?
  15. Main landing gear, also detailed with wire and Eduard wheels added. A small "pod" is made and copied in resin, it must be placed between the lighthouse and the front landing gear, slightly shifted to the right.. This "pod" was equipped with a window for a vertical view.
  16. Thank you friends for your comments. The landing gear doors are a little bit detailed using the Eduard set and plastic. The small door at the front is completely redone with plastic sheet, the original had a very bad molding. Front landing gear is also detailed, careful, no double lighthouse on the leg. Error encountered very often because of the Italeri instructions. Eduard wheel will be added. Paint all with MRPaint , first experience ,smoothly. The result suits me very well.
  17. The model is well advanced, almost ready for painting. But other steps are coming soon.
  18. We must add an antenna on the tail, it is the same antenna as the first Kfir and F-21. "Tzniut" is equipped with the Atar 9c, the Isracast resin part is perfect.
  19. I also need the ventral fuel tank from Mirage IIIE Italeri. I copied in resin to adapt on the IIIc.
  20. This Mirage is equipped, like the "Nesher" and "Kfir" of the seat Mk6, not the Mk4. I tried to make the seat from a seat of F-4 from Avionix. Here he has nothing of the F-4.
  21. We can see the camera and the quilted lining inside of the nose, the necessary documentation comes from the book on the 101 sqn Isradecals publication.
  22. Hello, I had once realized for a friend the nose recce "Tzniut for the Mirage IIIc. It is time for me to take advantage of the work done by also making this unusual version of the Israeli Mirage. I copied the AML kit and adapted for 1/32 scale. Use also information from IPMS Israel magazine "Kne Mida" Some pictures of the evolution of the project. The angle for the radome of the Italeri kit is too inclined, a slight correction is necessary. After making the master, a resin copy is cast. She was not top but improved since.
