Hey Jeff,
A lot of guys listen to podcasts while they model.
I have to say I've found myself doing the same.
Let me know if you have any questions after ya listen:)
Best,
--J
I listened to the podcast John, very informative, and I thought that was a good point about people giving other people that are having certain problems with spraying paint, advice, that live in other countries, in totally different weather conditions, and telling them to do things exactly the same as they do to get the right spraying conditons, very true!Good stuff John,

That's one pudgy P-38 jock. You don't usually see guys in WWII who are that hefty.
I was thinking the same thing, but I didn't want to say it!... -
Also sorry to read this John!....I really hope your hands do get better over time, it is very hard when something you use all the time in your everyday life causes you so much pain.
All the best,
Jeff.

Welcome Smithers!...and thanks a lot for the article.
My modelling friend does this now, and his images look just superb!....he has tried to explain to me how to do it, but I still haven't tried it yet, your article will come in very handy for me to try and understand the process.

Hello Jeff, good of you to comment on the finish. I'm not sure that many noticed: I moved away from a gloss black base for the Alclad. Instead, Alclad 'White Aluminium' was the base coat over fine grey primer. It is a relatively tough coat and doesn't mind being handled, unlike gloss black (in my experience). 'Airframe Aluminium' and 'Chrome' are the primary metal colours, with a bit of 'Jet Exhaust' to darken some panels.
Good formula Max, the results speak for themselves there!Cheer's,
Jeff.
