  1. Sometimes, it's actually a good thing to be old. We got to see some cool things and cool people that younger folks missed out on.
  2. Interesting little tidbit - I wanted to try this "Accura 60" resin for myself, so I contacted a sales rep to find out where I could buy some. It retails for 2635 USD per 10 kg jug, and that's the smallest quantity available! So, if you're unhappy about Shapeways ridiculous prices for items using this resin, at least now you know part of the reason why. Needless to say, I did not buy any. Tim
  3. I had the pleasure of meeting him at an air show once as a kid. Saburo Sakai, too. I wish I had pictures!!! Tim
  4. Helluva nice finish on both! Really well done, and I love in-flight displays! Tim
  5. Agreed, these tweak lists kick ass!!
  6. I think the "ball joint" attachment is probably something that could be 3D printed to fit the situation, possibly even out of clear resin. You might look into that with someone close to your location (UK?) like Peter at Airscale. Tim
  7. I ran 98SE for years, way past Win8. It was the most stable OS ever.
  8. My slow-ass old Windows 10 machine runs Fusion 360 fine, surprisingly. It's mostly a GPU thing, I think, but you'd know more than I would. The fun thing I just found out is now I get to PAY for Fusion 360, because I use it for business, and make more than 1000USD per year with it. I no longer qualify for the free use license. Crap.
  9. On a side note, did any of you Telford attenders here any news about Tim Skelton, or actually see him there? I have still had no luck getting in touch with him. Any help would be appreciated. Tim
  10. I'll check on that. If all else fails, email me and I'll send them to you.
  11. You are a cynical old man, Chris!! As am I.....
  12. I could certainly do that if there is a demand, yes. Even if I don't cast them, I could always 3D print them to order, so let me know. Also, if you download the instructions, there is some dimension info in there that might help you figure out what you need.
  13. 19 November: Vietnam era Armco PB-1 Revetment components in 1:32 now available (1:35 coming soon!) Instructions and references here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hOk1Nfacd6Ql07txabNVm8J9A3OaHK0Z/view?usp=sharing Updated catalog with prices here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H4TwVx2g5pR9c3PwCh-FLouOUCrl2Cfe/view?usp=sharing I will, of course, offer discounts if you need a lot of them for a larger display. Thanks, Tim bnbresindesign@gmail.com
  14. I am guilty of owning a bunch of those lime green battery tools inlcuding that saw. I love them!
  15. Holy smoke, that looks great!! Really nice job on the paint and weathering, in particular. Tim
  16. That's good news to me, since there's a bunch of aftermarket stuff in the AMS line for those kits. Might result in a few orders. Tim
  17. I think it's been pruned, because I don't see it either. That poor soul really needs to practice some objectivity regarding himself. Too bad, really.
  18. Sort of, but not really, sorry. I had to pause it until I got the new printer, which I got and then promptly got pulled away on filling orders and doing other summer projects. The good news is that there were a couple of things I needed to learn how to do before I forged ahead, and I've made some progress on learning those. Soo....I have hope that I will return to it in the next couple months. T
  19. I'm planning on it, but (as you know) I have a long list of things to develop in my spare time, and that's down there a little ways.
  20. Unfortunately, I don't believe Harold ever made that, and I certainly haven't. I am not as well versed on the T-33 variants as he was, so I currently don't have any plans to make it. Sorry about that! Tim
