  1. after 3 months bending wires finally finished this little one , hope you like it
  2. Thank you all for your kind words to my model Jorge
  3. thanks, yes this is mostly an OOB build, i only replaced the switches and knobs on the cockpit with ANYZ 3d printed switches and knobs as you can see here
  4. just finished the excellent model, best helicopter a have ever built, in fitting and details
  5. Main paint work is done, quite happy with the result, next step will be closing the cockpit and add all the small pieces that are left in the box
  6. i know some people don't like it because the finish as they say is over weathered , this is what i am using as a guide and here is an update on how is the paint work coming along
  7. no i did not do anything to it, i cant see the picture you posted, it comes out as a broken link
  8. So i finished painting the tail boom, to me looks quite nice so far, had to use a black background for the pictures, never thought helo drab color will be that hard to photograph to show the weathering as it look with the naked eye
  9. I decided i will go with a weathered finish on the apache, a very worn paint on it, so far y tested the finish look on the tail and i am quite happy on the final looks
  10. so far the fitting is excellent, so complains at all, not a single oz of putty or a drop of cyano to fill any gap
  11. it is a cromatic self adhesive film on the inside of the clear part
  12. Fuselage already closed, cockpit really look great inside the fuselage next are the nose sensors nice touch of detail from Takom on the sensors firewall
  13. Tom i used 2 sets from ANYZ , AN028 and AN024. And yes i am aware about the blowers, but my strong is not sratchbuilding so i will leave it like that next in line after the apache will be the Skycrane, for that i will need lots of patience to scratch build miles of plumbing on the top of the helicopter
  14. Hello all, i know this forum is not a big fan of helicopters as i am I decided to post some pictures of this model that is a crisp representation of the Apache, great detail and lots of positive rivets as the real machine Started with the cockpit as usual i replaced all the buttons from the original plastic with ANYZ 3D printed switches and knobs, and data decals from ANYZ also, it really comes to life this black cockpit
  15. Finally done, this kit is OOB except the intrument panel it came from quinta studio decals set
  16. Thanks for the info, about the technical specs of the airplane i don't know much, i am just using a reference picture of the actual airplane as you can see in the photo, also there are other 3 fuel stains in the fuselage matching the holes you are talking about About the engine, i just place it on the airplane just to show the exchangeable nose section offered by the kit, at the end the engine will be placed next to the aircraft and not on the aircraft. best regards Jorge
  17. I have been working on the fuselage paint and some weathering, you can see the sub assemblies of the model so far a closeup of the fuselage, next step is to paint the bottom gray and decals and overall look of the model with all the modules on and with the the engine nose section
  18. Thank you gentleman for your kind words, i hope this week i can get new pictures of the progress Jorge
  19. hello all, i decided to start this year with a 1/32 scale kit instead of my regular scale of 1/48, this will be a OOB kit except for the cockpit instrument panels that came from Quinta Studio decals. As always i started with the cockpit , then i did the engine as this model have interchangeable nose section one with the engine cowlings and one with just the engine In this pictures you can see both nose sections in place with magnets Next step will be the top camo on the wings i know i have a different way of building and painting my models, i build them in modules and paint it in sections the models, then i put everything together. Next is the R/H wing so far this is what i have done so far and this is how it looks all together
