Hi,i m building Razorback and i m planing to cut off details from MDC corrugated floor and attached them on the kit s,do you think the MDC set can be combined with the Razorback s back plate and then attach on the kit s fuselage?-cheers- 40 replies

Trumpeter Republic P-47N Thunderbolt Cockpit After market?
hayaman replied to Vandy 1 VX 4's topic in LSP Discussion
The MDC set is (along with Eagle s FW 190 sets) the best cockpit set for WW2 plane,if you re patient you can take MDC s corrugated floor(also offered in the set)and cut off dets such as hydr pumps, stick, and other floor mostly details, personally i don t like the 2D effect of p/etched but in some cases(instr.panels, placards) they look superb-the Barracuda SPOKE wheels(without the flat cover) are ok for N you just have to look for the right tyre pattern if any particular for the N or the particular plane you build-cockpit has many differences and at least 1 unique as the seat had arm rests-cheers- 40 replies

New 1/24 P-47D RazorBack - 3208 - see you in 2015!
hayaman replied to raymondchung's topic in Vendors Board
I saw the bubbletop version,it s the Trump enlarged with some better detail though in places, still though with that AWFULL seam on the spine,no such problem with Razorback though,in my opinion with a resin cockpit it will be awsome -

...on enlargement i can see the w.shield is correct and i can t see the spinner clearly,if it s the Curtiss(and the prop too) it s ok-looks like the Trump in terms of surface detail,ok with me -

From what i can tell that prop is suitable only for the latest Razorback variants (-22,23) and if (i can t see clearly) the windshield is frameless that s a mistake,it was also...razor edged with metal at the edge -
Thanks mate, from pics of the now restored Guinea found 1,the colour is dark indeed,i ll try the mix

Great!-just fix the problem there was with the Vintage P-47(too short legs),from what i can see it s ok though -
Hallo-since lots of people has built it i wonder if any1 has found the exact interior colour-mind you it is NOT the usual int. green,it was called Northrop Interior Green and it was darker and duller than the normal int.green-any help apreciated, cheers

A sorry,no intention at all,it s just that i found out doing so 'late' and i was boring to re write!-cheers

Hmm,shouting?what do you mean,i don t understand...it s here because i asked for an adress at the 1st place not for parts-cheers

Hallo-thanks for trying but waat i need is the corrugated floor from the MDC set in particular-i can buy the whole set for 40EU but i m trying to find the floor alone and avoid paying the whole set for it-the set includes 2 floors for Has kit and since only 1 version of it needs the corrugated floor the majority of the modelers who built it would have it as a late 1(non corugated)so they ll have the other spare-thanks anyway
-
HALLO AND HAPPY NEW YEAR-IF YOU HAVEN T BUILD IT FOR SOME REASON OK OR ELSE I M AFRAID IT WON T BE ANYTHING AVAILABLE,ANYWAY,I NEED LEFT UPPER WING PART AND IT S LONG COVER(THE 1 THAT GOES OVER THE BULLETS) FOR EXAMPLE,BUT I LL SEND YOU THE PARTS BY NUMBER-THANKS
-

Hallo-i m looking to buy the CORUGATED floor as given in the P-47 s set,i guess the majority of the builds concern the latest types(non corugated floor)so the other should have stayed unused-PM me HAYAMAN210@HOTMAIL.COM-thanks

Hi,thanks for reply-indeed they only fit the big hole but trying to bend them either side at the mark there is on 1 of the sides doesn t give the sape it shows(and i ve seen in real belts-the small hole buckle should be at 90 degrees and vertical to the seat when belts are flat on it,i really can t see how...
-
Can they be made with a paint marker you think?-great build by the way
-
Hallo-Given the chance i want some help-i m starting my 1st atempt to use these belts in my P47 and i m stuck with a problem,'can t figure out how the buckles No 7 and 8 of the shoulder straps are benting,i see them in other belt sets without bending and the way HGW says to bent (the instructions are a scetch not photo) is impossible, maybe hmm,it s just me,nevertheless i d apreciate some help-thanks,cheers
