  1. That was helpull!,i m in the group you mentioned and i ve uploaded pics of my own research acctually, but i couldn t get an answer, now if we could somehow find pics or info about the walls details-equipment... Thanks anyway
  2. Hello, desperately looking for cockpit photos(or knowledge) regarding the cockpit floor(was it wood too,or metal?),and rear wall with equipment(what colours they were),i m refering to original photos not the wrong painted rescent exhebition ones-thanks
  3. I see 2 shades, one the IP electronics boards, the other the rest(seats, sides, roof, etc,do you know which colour codes are they?-thanks
  4. 1st,thank you very much-now here s what i ve come up with:-1st the USAF instruction sheet calls w.wells and doors,b.bay and doors 16473-also the flaps wells, something i ve seen in pics on some and indeed the precise plane (059 The Devil s Own) i want to build,i have pics(i don t know how to upload that show a DEFFINANT difference in colour between the LG doors and legs-wheels),as for cockpit seat, sides and roof of pilots area are the same with the IP a very light colour which in some pics (planes?) thougb looks the same as the rest, also the floor looks lighter, same as IP-a mess
  5. Hello-1st thanks for the photos, unfortunatelly the questions still exist-the D s are out of disscasion since they re completelly different,as for the H interior from what i can tell the IP and the electronics boards are a very light white-ish colour while walls, seats, roof and floor(?) are a darker one, thing is which are their FS s,whuch to use, also i see .odellers paint the under bay white while i ve read it s FS16474 which is a very light gray
  6. Hello, here s my questions-in the Eduard PE kit for H the consoles have a very light grey colour, this goes on the sidewalls too and maybe the rest of the cockpit interior?(floor, electronics boards, etc),and which grey(s) is that?-the seats are the same or a darker gray?if yes which?-the bomb-LG bay is not white(?),i think FS16474?-THANKS
  7. Hello-i m looking for a couple of buffmaster design sets, the seats and antenae etc, anyone knows if they exist somewhere?-pm me please if there s info-thanks
  8. Where can we get them?(for Revell?)
  9. So what s up with the Resin2detail parts, are they on the market?,it has been some time since their last apperiance-anybody knows if they ll make the turtleback version of the r2800 and the LG legs WITHOUT the discs brakes,so that they ll be apropriate for the Invaders in service up to Korea?-also is there a fix for the gunners window which is totally flat without the "hole" for the periscope?with the R2d parts and Korean decals the 8nosed becomes correct then-thanks in advance
  10. So light at the end of the tunnel,Resin2detail makes an impresive apearance in yhe market and comes to save all those Invader fans who got so turned off by this awfull kit-i mwilling to buy EVERYTHING they ll offer and either corrects or improves(by the means of detailing)the kit-2 notes though-i saw the wonderfull LG legs but if the wheel-brake section is one part i think they ll have to make another one depicting the plane at least up to Korean era where they had the ww2 wheel-brake arangement-i think though that the disc brakes appeared on Ks at first and subsequently on restored planes-and 2nd,in tve vast magority if my original pics i see the "turtleback" version of the R2800,so please R2d modify your EARLY version-with these and the rest of your corrections and details we re coming close to a very good model-let me know you fellas think(every1),i think i m right in my thoughts except some1 has other info which i would very much like to know
  11. Ok,so the nose section was changeable and as i read it happened often-so,if we have a B version turned into a C,what about the cockoit details which are different, the IP is different and would the gun scope etc remain?-if i ad a cockpit det.set(with IP) for a C that use to be a B m i suppose to take a B set?-anuone?-thanks
  12. You are talking about the biggest modeling dissapointment of my life(the HB Invader),i was waiting 20 years for such kit only to see it done either from...fashion designers(!),or from...drunk people(!!),with all these mistakes,if any1 goes for a new kit i ll be the 1st on the line for it
  13. Sorry but at 95£ with that detail even a 1/48 (up to a 2 engined one) would qualify according to my taste!-looks stuning and althouj 'havent got experiance with the other 24rs something REALLY bad must occur to take it out if my list
  14. For starters thanks a lot-so if i got right that s the resume:the-71 and -79 are the tur/backs quite similar in looks with P47 D30s -59(with some differences),what i m trying to find out is if there were some particular blocks with some engine and some with the other(s) or it was random due to the factory that a plane was built for example,my choise up to now is a C15 block plane-for educational reasons do you know why there was an engine ONLY for Bs as you mention?-thanks
  15. Ok,hello every1-first of all,i m back and very glad about it:))-i m not going to repeat any of the pre said about the HB kit l m going straight to the point-so,i ve seen many original pics with open engines and i see the turtleback magnetos,any1 knows when they start to appear on Invaders?ww2 or Korea?,and in what blocks?-likewise the disc brakes with the 6 piston calipers are they rescent (K and air tankers or restored a/c or they appeared sometime in wartime?-thanks in advance
  16. ...and the guys have excellent customer service
  17. Dull Dark Green, ready made from White Ensign,or if you can t find it i accidently found that Gunze IJN Green is spot on,there isn t the slightest difference,as they were from the same bottle!,and Zinc Chromate (yellow) every other "inside" part(wheel and gun wells etc)
  18. Trust me,i ve surch that plane so much i know the route of its pipes!,i know the diffs...but does it fit right in?!(in terms of dimensions)-i see too in excellent builds the wrong int colour, after having difficulty finding ready made d.d.green(w.ensign),i found out Gunze s IJN green is spot on(spraying over the w.e there wasn t even a weathering kind of shade difference,as they were out of the same bottle!)
  19. i have use it 4 times in b.tops,i absolutely agree and i was thinking cuting out dets off it(pumps, levers, consoles, etc)because i don t think it fits Trump straihht in,any opposite knowledge?
  20. Ok,a very common theme but i think i ll be back to my fav P-47 and as a fan of precision and detail i like the most out of my kits,so what would be yhe wsy to detail a Trump s razorback cockpit?apart from scratch-maybe taking parts off det sets gor the bubbletop?...
  21. that means +- 10cm in w and 5-6 fuse
