Having what feels like you telling me off for raising something that you as a group have discussed before, it feels like you pointed out I should have known better and not said a thing. The attitude on this forum stinks at times, I think I'll just leave you, the group to chat amongst yourselves and avoid wasting my time coming back. There's a far friendly site for large scale modellers which contains all of the ex-LSP forum members that have left here for the same reason.

Hannants have added the kit to their future releases - £240 (£216 if you put it on backorder). That's probably slightly more than I'd be willing to pay given my limited (and getting smaller) budget - I'll keep working through the stash and enjoy hearing about your builds.

there is a third option which I suggest is probably used more than the other two you listed. Build it OOB as is and like what you have created. I really think, given the number of supposedly unbuildable, poorly fitting and inaccurate kits that are constantly released, that more people than we give credit to just buy and build them as they are. The super detailing end of our hobby is just that I think, the tip of a very big iceburg . Otherwise no kit manufacturer except Tamigawa will stay in business. Reading the statement about Infinity, it looks like the IM side was a small dip of their toe into that market and the rest of their work is now taking priority. If more kits had sold them maybe they would have carried on ?? I'm only guessing obviously but I do think the market is not as narrow as suggested. Whatever happens, I'm grateful for the IM kits they have released and sad for the ones that will now not be released.

just read on Britmodeller this will most likely be the last IM kit, too few staff, complex to deliver, too much other work and not enough sales of their current IM kits. Unless we buy what people produce they won't continue in the market, there are so many people that knock these kits, personally I'd much rather have them with flaws than not have the opportunity to build them. This is not normally my subject type but one of the aircraft is named Linda, my wife's name. On the back of that I started to order but looks like they only take payment via paypal which I refuse to use following a previous really bad experience relating to fraud on my account (try finding someone to talk to at paypal - absolutely impossible). I have contacted Halberd to see if there is an alternative way to pay.

plus one - I like Trumpeter kits, they make a nice, easy and quick build compared to short run kits so I get enjoyment in between harder builds. I'm one of those who will purchase regardless of accuracy as I don't care about that aspect of modelling. I get why those of you who do care get frustrated but I guess you are a minority otherwise they would go out of business - @DeanKB reasoning above seems logical, I also can't see why else they manufacture as they do.

any chance of a spitfire please, we really need a new spitfire I am more than happy with the 1/32 kits announced so far this year - spoilt for choice, no longer enough time to build everything.

I just finished last week the trumpy E3 with aftermarket Condor Legion masks and it makes probably the best looking 109 in my opinion. Not sure I'd build another one as the only difference would be the number or spinner colour but would recommend building one in this scheme if you haven't got one in your collection. I really like the approach of Hobby 2000.

nearly finished building mine in French Navy markings. There's certainly no issue with the fit of the windshield, can't comment on the accuracy of it other I've not spotted anything out of place. It's a good kit, enjoyable build and looks great in the French Navy all over blue scheme. Hope that helps neil

out of all the 1/32 and 1/35 kits due in the foreseeable future, this one is at the top of my list. Can't wait, thanks for posting @Dpgsbody55, looks amazing neil

if they are reading this thread, I'll give the first kit a miss, as good as it looks I don't want it. However, I will promise to buy a massive, very large, ginormous pile of Seafires and griffron engined spits if you decide to release them (please, please, please).

Depends what you mean by better ? If accuracy I suspect Thierry's response is the answer to the question. If it's fun to build then the trumpy kit might be the one. I only say that as I've just finished their E3 kit, thoroughly enjoyable build and as far as I recall more enjoyable than the Hasegawa kit. But that's subjective I know.

I think this is one of those things that is entirely down to your personality. If you have thing for accuracy then it will bug you always, if you don't care about accuracy then you most likely wont even think about it. What I've never seen is an identical 1/35 and 1/32 kit built up side by side so for me, without seeing the difference, I can't judge the impact of 10% difference on kits this size, it just lots of words. The few pictures I could find on the interweb were 1/35 figures with 1/32 vehicles and aircraft. Based on those pictures I would have said they were the same scale. It's your artwork, do what pleases you and have fun building the diorama. neil

The likes of Tamiya, Airfix, Revell, Trumpeter, ICM, etc, etc will no longer be needed as we will be able to download and print off our own plastic. The first proper model hobby revolution since the move from wood to plastic. The BV-138 is simply stunning (and your Lancaster also looks amazing, so good to see it in different colours) - you are very skilled. neil

indeed, I built the K and it's a cracking looking kit once finished (as are all of the KH kits I've built, I'd rank them first for surface detail)
