  1. I have this in my stash, my first big scale kit given as a prize. I will probably be admiring the box for a long time until I know not to screw up this beautiful kit. Will be watching the build to learn from the experienced guys here.
  2. I ordered a few times from this store and it was good. The shipping cost comes down with more items in one order, as low as free shipping. So it’s good to consolidate all orders. I compare prices among all sites such as Amazon, TaoBao and shops. Super Hobby can have lowest price sometimes, even lower if the order reached free shipping quota.
  3. To my understanding, AK acrylic comes in those slender small drip bottle while the enamel ones come with big mouth bottles. Acrylic can be thin by water if hand brush but one should use thinner to thin when airbrushing. Am I right?
  4. Phew!…..finally finished digesting 74 pages of this. Now…it’s time to start the build. I have finally unboxed the F-5E kit yesterday. Will use the useful info from here to build my RSAF plane. Never mind some inaccuracies, I will do what is possible and practical to complete the plane. Wish me luck for my first 1/32 big plane.
  5. Awesome build. This prowler is beautiful and the trick of keeping the plane floating by the hook is simply amazing. I am going to start build my 1/48 Dark warrior prowler and there is plan to suspend the nose of the plane to depict a landing scene just like in the link below. Now the challenge is how to build a decent model and how to anchor the rear wheel on the runway…..I shall take up this challenge. https://www.airliners.net/photo/USA-Navy/Grumman-EA-6B-Prowler-G-128/1986437
  6. Man…..this boat is beautiful. I have the S-100 stashed in the cabinet, bought 10 years ago……I had wanted to convert this 1 meter boat to radio control when I bought it but after 10 years in the box, I think I will build it for display and not get it wet. Even bought the crews. May I ask where do you get those small detail parts and 3D printed parts? I may be able to print if I can get hold of the stl files. Thanks.
  7. I just pickup this KittyHawk 1/32 F5E for S$90….gonna build a RSAF Tiger.
  8. Nice build, will certainly keep this link as reference for my S-100 build. Thank You for sharing. My S-100 box is sitting in my room, waiting to be built. This will happen only after I have finished working on my current 1/200 Revell ETV Waker. I am converting it to RC and I will convert the S-100 to RC too. I will try to get the 2 outer rudders to tilt like the real thing for better cruising in water. Here's my build log of the ETV Waker in RCGroups.com. Revell ETV Waker build
