Black Sheep One got a reaction from Out2gtcha in Make the others jealous
It's $59.99/month.
If you're in the USA you get 4 issues/month.
Yes, it's still available.

They sell it as a 1:1 studio scale.
In other words, a replica of the actual model used on the films.
Here's a video with the completed model next to the designer....it is big.

Black Sheep One got a reaction from David G in KH Kingfisher
I just remembered I have a book on the OS2U, Aircraft Pictorial #3 by Dana Bell.
This book has many detailed closeups of the wings, engine area, cockpit and pontoons.
All these images show lots of rivets, mostly flush type which are easily covered by the heavy pains sued back then.
So the comment of "There should be *no* rivets on an OS2U" is wrong.
BTW, here's a link to the book on Amazon if anyone is interested.

Personally, I can'n wait for this kit to come out as it looks to be another beauty from Kitty Hawk Models and I want one....or two.
BTW, I did not include images from the book as that would be a copyright violation.

I don't think your statement is accurate.
Looking at some photos from the Kingfisher at the Smithsonian, it seems to have lots of rivets, most noticeable on the wings and the pontoon.

Black Sheep One got a reaction from Out2gtcha in Kittyhawk T-28 CAD
The T-28C was the Navy version. Basically it was a T-28B with shorter prop blades and a tail hook.
The T-28D was the "armed" version used by the Air Force in 1962 for COIN, Recon, SAR and FAC roles.
Three variants of the D were made with just different engines and some other minor upgrades.
T-28D Mark I - Wright R-1820-56S engine 1,300 HP.
T-28D Mark II - Wright R-1820-76A engine 1,425 HP.
T-28D Mark III - Wright R-1820-80 engine 1,535 HP.
Info gathered from Wikipedia.

I never said it was a photo of a model. Seriously.
I said it could be given all the alterations and the source of said image (an art site).

It doesn't have to be "the best Photoshop job anyone has ever done" to pull this off.
The best Photoshop jobs are done on a daily basis on magazines of all types (mostly fashion and glamour). I see it all the time on the news stands in NYC.
As for the helmet, most warbird pilots I know don't fly around in a helmet wearing an O2 mask under 10,000 ft. (most warbirds flying around today don't fly that high anymore, they don't need to, some can't).

I just don't understand why the guy in the front seat is wearing a helmet with oxygen mask while the guy in the back seat looks like he's made out of plastic (his right arm) and both have an open canopy while "in flight"?

The angle on your images is not very clear to determine the angle of engine or cowling.
if you look closely at this one, the cowling is straight but the front looks "cut" at an angle.

Glen: I look forward to the release of this kit. It's been a long wait. I do hope one of the markings for this kit is a shark mouth!

Black Sheep One got a reaction from phantomdriver in Flory Models Washes
Nope.
I bought several sets of all his sanding products at one time.
After a while some started coming apart in the bags.
Some of the regular sized sanders were getting discolored and the sponges collapsing.
All my messages to Flory regarding this issue went ignored.
Shortly after that we had a disagreement over an unrelated issue and he kicked me off the site.
