I know I came to the right place.The menbership in this forum has steered me in the right direction before.I'm building a 1\10 scale B/25 from a kit made by Hanger 9.Normally I work with injection molded scale kits. The Hanger 9 is a real nice kit but the gun turret that came with the kit looks like 1/2 of a tennis ball. I intend to vacuum mold the correct turret at home.I've spent some serious time making and installing the interior parts to scale but the turret has got to go.I'm a bit concerned about baking the mold in the oven.Are the fumes from the process nasty? Is it just a matter of opening the kitchen windows and turning on the ceiling fan?I know I can out run the lady of the house but that may not be conducive for harmony at the homestead. Any hints or guidence would be appreciated.
