  1. Should work fine, function of solvent or liquid glues is to melt or weld plastic, which it doesn't do to resin.
  2. Have the 2 stage engines, 8 gun nose, one HK Mk.IV series II kit, 3 Revell kits, LSP decals (remember those?), two ebay Tamiya wing sets, Paragon wheels, bomber canopy, and other bits, but want to convert at least two Revell to fighter so is the best source for fighter canopy direct from Tamiya?
  3. Well, even though I have to translate the pages to english, I could only find one other WNW kit in his feedback past year that was the Meng Triplane. Also saw it the only one listed in current page, but sure i'm missing what you found. Link for me only shows as model-construction shop in Minden. Is that one of the shops that received WNW kits in numbers? Would be something if they were selling alot of earlier out of production ones.
  4. Andy's from what I can tell received a rather large inventory of the last WNW stored kits, same as other stores which are still dwindling as we type.
  5. No type of answer here, but will add that two of my purchases of the #32004 WNW Bristol Fighter had the same issue of unsealed decal bags with no photo etch within, so I contacted WNW customer service (about three months ago) from website with attached photos and they were replaced. It did take some time for them to be located which was fine with me. Also the W.29 was again available with the final wave so perhaps the seller got several?
  6. Cool, always love that kit. Great choice on that early camo, used to see it in Aviation week magazine my Dad would get back then. 50747
  7. I tried the search and my own googling, but didn't find their release of a cockpit set. Thanks
  8. The Hasegawa P-40K kit also replaced the tubular exhaust (sprue T) with fishtail (sprue U) including shroud (replaced sprue D with sprue E) and to use the loop antenna on spine for one of the schemes.
  9. With all the Nat. metal back there and tonal changes, best to use good shots from active days on F-4. For the dark petals I use Humbrol Metal Cote gun metal. It is buffed.
  10. Like that first pic has it with the early main wheel. Second pic the -78 has a blue body which I thought (oh boy, here we go again..) was inert or for testing, so doing some training there?
  11. Sorta like my subject heading - BOGO 25% off WNW You put two in cart and there's the cost
  12. Glad it landed on WNW and was told in time to get one's I wanted - thanks for the word on Andy's operations.
  13. I got word from friend - have to cart them to see discount - guess he wants to move the lagging selections? That covered my high state tax AND shipping!
  14. I can only agree as I rode in one around the owners hilly property. I preferred to act as gunner standing to the right.
  15. And I was unsure where i'd put my Leopold! Not to take anything from thread, but always wondered what the receiving end from one of the mega guns looked like...
  16. I'd say not totally wrong as you may have a beneficial situation if the Spitty clear are in good order as when you delve into the super spitty, you are good to go with clear parts. Even may be a moment when you can help a fellow LSP'er incase they need such parts! Surely Airfix will remedy this ASAP as others said. Cheers.
  17. One Nice Clark shark! Like to know exactly how you did the cockpit sill scratches please? The WSO panel is packed in there anyways, so looks the part there.
  18. Yes, I too hope you are well Ken, ironic timing that I pulled my two PCM Tempest kits from storage two days ago and both are sitting here by the bench. Is there a POC for replacements?
  19. I should add to tips section that a decent way to knock down and level out the RAM is to surround it with trimmed up Tamiya tape, then sand it to the tape level.
  20. Wouldn't the 1/48 Hobbyboss -17 be a possible choice for an upscaling? Seems to be a decent enough kit.
  21. Recently photographed an A-4L (wiper arrangement) at Castle Museum which has full oval windscreen.
  22. No longer wondering why I got one for low $$ at last local show.
  23. The dark yellow (used to be burnt red) surround on the windscreen is defrost heating strip embedded in the glass.
