Russ, I have the CAM F-4S set and it only has the outer wing slats, not the inner slats or actuators. Unfortunately, my brain just froze and I cannot remember the full contents of the set. I will check it tonight and get back to you. David (Silvanus)

Your build wants me to start on my own F-4S project! Thank you for the build article since I did not know about the strengthening straps under the wings. I am also unsure as to the positioning of the actuators for the slats on the inner wings. I had heard that they are "similar" to the F-4E slats, but finding accurate references has been a real pain. I envy you being able to crawl under the Midway's F-4S!

I have seen some models of the Firefox over the years, but none have "looked right." After seeing your efforts, I truly believe you have got it right. I would be willing to get one when you get molds ready. Just to ask, have you ever read the sequel books? They are Firefox Down and Winterhawk. They are good reads IMHO.
