  1. Hi Great looking filling, my biggest headache!!! It always seems to go concave when I do it? You seem to have gaps where I don't, weird. Lucky me Good work, can you post a picture of the decals you are going to use? Thanks Ian
  2. Hi Richard, Thanks very much indeed. I am just waiting for some plasticard to be delivered so I can add the fins to either side of the tail and some fins to the fuel tanks. When I am doing that I will also change over the pylons so that the sidewinders are facing the right way. Thanks again Ian
  3. Hi Allok, Yeah, there will be a billion of them, but worth all the effort. Thanks Ian
  4. Hi Texas, Real progress there mate. Good looking wiring too! I wouldn't sweat it about the A10, I haven't ordered the parts for it yet, plus I a on with an F4E at the moment so am up to my eyeballs in bits and pieces for it. Take your time and enjoy it. Thanks Ian
  5. Hi all I am well under way with my F4. I see what you mean by the gaps in the intakes, really bad!!! I am going to go with FOD guards on mine. The assembly is really simple and smooth, one click and it goes into place. There are even fewer gaps than I was expecting, which is good news! At the minute I have just inserted the cockpit tub and attached the top halves of the wings. I shall post some images for you tomorrow. Thanks Ian
  6. i Freddie, Nice looking pit. How many kits do you usually have on the go at one time? Thanks Ian
  7. Freddie, Nice looking WIP, keep going. Thanks Ian
  8. Hi Texas I am going to order the pit seat and external set from CE as well. Hows the F14 looking? Did you geterdun yet? Thanks Ian
  9. Hi Jerry, I agree with Texas, show us some progress. Thanks Ian
  10. Hi That went together in no time, and what a result. Really nice work. Ian
  11. Hi, This is insane . That pit is an absolute work of art. I really like the way you used Tam clear green. I just had this kit delivered, I haven't ordered the extra parts for it as yet as I am on with a Tam F4E. Which Squadron will you be depicting for the Gulf? I am definately going to be watching for progress on this one, truely great start, thanks for sharing. Thanks Ian
  12. Ron Fantastic looking 109. Great weathering, really well applied. Stunning. Thanks Ian
  13. Hi Tony, Looks good so far, good luck with the series. Nice pit. Thanks Ian
  14. Hi Qvarre, This si simply a great looking bird. Fantastic job. I like the angry turd too! Thanks Ian

  16. Hi all, Next on my table then is the mighty F4E by Tamiya. I feel a little aprehensive about this. Like when a musician has learned all there life to play composers well, then they are given Bach for the first time and it is a whole different kettle of fish. So, I feel like, hmm, careful with this one lad and pay particular attention. Cool! I have read the instructions, and for the first time I am noticing that I have to screw things togther, and there are metal parts. And boy are there a lot of parts in general, a REAL challenge. Well, I walk where angels fear to tread, and so on. I have ordered the CE seats and update set for the F4E, but I have plenty to be gettng on with before that lot arrives. Phantom heads, can someone explain to me what seamless intakes are and why they are used in stead of those provided in the box??? Thanks all Ian
  17. Hi Texas, Keep it up, these large kits can be a pain, especially when you expect more for your money and have to do it yourself. But thats modelling right? And on a lighter note, guess who's A10A turned up in the post today??? Absolutely great looking kit. Now I am off to order the detail sets for it. Thanks Ian
  18. Hi all, Again, here she is. Now moving on, again thanks to all who helped out with this, very much appreciated. And for my next trick, and improvement, the Tamiya F4E!!! Jesus, what am I thinking??? Thanks guys, hope you like her, if I get a decent picture(s), I will post some more. Thanks Ian
  19. Hi all, Here she is. Sorry about the pictures, something else I need to figure out. Thanks Ian
  20. Hi, Good question Chris, the E is my next build, so I am a little apprehensive about sanding off a hundred BDP's. This is an awesome build. Am I repeating myself? Can you tell me which cockpit tub you are using and where you got it? Thanks Ian
  21. Nice, very nice mate. I just got mine down to start tomorrow with any luck. I am doing the early addition F4E, think I will ignore the see through nose cone though, abit to gimicky for me. Stunning. Where did you get those seats??? Thanks Ian
  22. Hi all, Scotsman, thanks, really, I am chuffed with it too. Rookie, are you being kind? I found out about the Alarms, thanks anyway Scotsman, I have hung LGB's now anyway. Well, she's finished, and wouldn't you know it, the camera has run out of batteries!  I will post some pictures of her tomorrow, and then reveal what I intend to do next. It is on the list below, bet you can't guess which one??? Thanks Ian
