  1. Harold: Have an early start on it!!!!. For sure Squadron will release it with the same stuff as the F-80 and afterward s they will bring the rest of goodies. Seen what they do with the F-80, gladly will go with your goodies, eyes closed Edgar
  2. Hi Fellows: Just find out on the first photos from the NATS, that the Czech Master T-33 is a reality. According to the photos I saw on HS plastic forum, at least the box already exists. If any of you guys are at the NATS, find out more details for us "unlucky" ones that did not made it to the convention, guess it is on the Squadron Hobby's stand. Of course, photos of it will be highly appreciated. TIA Edgar Mertins
  3. Ok. Guys, finally had the chance to review in deep my sample and can confirm Charles measures on the Trumpy Stringbag: well they´re spot on. Give or take an infinitesimal inch and that´s it. About Tim question (at least I understand it this way), a review of any similarity of the Trumpy model with the Tamiya one (check the instructions of them side by side) ended up in a nice surprise: a) you can be tempted to affirm that the Trumpy one is no other than the Tamiya one in steroids!!!, that is an upscale of the 1/48 into 1/32!!!. checking the instructions of the two of them, the build sequence is almost the same, the major difference lays on the interior. c) when you check the parts breakdown you will be tempted to affirm that they have exactly the same breakdown in different scale. d) only criticisms in my opinion: only one cartoon of seat belt for the front office is included and feel that there are some detail missing on the interior. Can not be conclusive on this, cause still have to check against my references on the Stringbag. Personal opinion: if you like this bird as I do, don´t hesitate and get one as soon as you can. It´s a nice model and I´m sure will end up in an eye catcher once build. Regards, Edgar
  4. Jason: I get it from a vendor on Evil bay. His first auction went " bananas" and he send me a "second chance" message.
  5. Great Charles: Now I only need to have your address to send you my invoice in case I prove that the Trumpy Stringbag is spot on the meassures. Edgar
  6. Interesting question Tim. Will check it side by side with my Tamiya Swordfish. Also, will measure it and come back with precise dimensions. Regards,
  7. Sorry guys, at my house I mean!!!!. Order my example from Philippines and the thing arrived today. According to Sprue Brothers preorder add, I still saved a couple of bucks!!!. First quick impressions: - gees, the think is big!!! - exquisite surface detail, love the way they represented the surfaces - nice interior, all of it is in plastic, no photo etch unfortunately, guess Eduard will come to the rescue - no seat belts at all, guess they choose to devote all pe efforts to the wings wiring, already have the Eduard set so problem solved already - personally, don´t like the decal versions they included, I´m sure there were other nicer versions - engine detail looks super, think it will look terrific when build - still don´t understand the inclusion of the clear fuselage, there´s a lot of detail missing from the tail section Bottom line: it´s not a super model, but it´s a nice start to have a nice finished product and after all, the only 1/32 scale available Will try to get some photos and post them back. Hope my laisy photo mood allow me to do that this coming weekend If any of you guys have some specific thinks you want me to look at, let me know. Regards, Edgar
  8. Hi guys: Guess the mistery about a "new" P-51 in 1/32 is finaly solved!!. Indeed it does exist and is comming from Doyusha. Take a look here: http://www.geocities.jp/hobby_show_album/j...a2009/index.htm About halfway the gallery you will find it along with another Japanese subject.
  9. Same here, mine it´s already on it´s way. Hope we don´t have to wait so long for the T-33!!!!
  10. Hi fellows: Just get in touch with Gordon at Sprue Brothers and he told me that they expect the arrive of the kit this coming Thursday. Of course, already confirmed and pay the one I have on preorder!!!. Regards, Edgar.
  11. Thank´s Michel: That´s exactly the one I saw. Last night also find some on Evil Bay Germany at almost the same price. Unfortunately, neither of them makes sense to get once you add the postage cost. (Both cases more than 25 euros!!!). Regards, Edgar
  12. Guess this time it will be true. Just saw it already available in an online store in Germany (can recall it´s name), so it´s arrival in Great Britain is close. Sad for us in this side of the pond, but my estimate is that we will not see it until sometime in January (guess will be a nice birthday present for me!!!) Regards to all, Edgar
  13. Sorry for the multiple posts, my conection went "bannanas" and did not know I submitt the message multiple times. Feel free to delete the previous ones, as I did not find a way to do it myself.
  14. Does someone have any news about this kit?. As far as I remember it was due this month, but so far, nothing. With this and the delay of the Revell Ju-88, seems that after all I´m going to have some "extra" money for Christmas presents!!!. Regards, Edgar
