  5. "Hi Jack Sent you a PM which I hope you get soon- I was watching TV the other day and the show was filmed in Maastricht, which is in your neck of the woods, if I am not mistaken. What a beautiful, ancient (2,000 years!) town you have there. I'm buying a lottery ticket, and if it wins, I'll be visiting soon! " unquote....... Hi lee, sorry for the late response, was down for a few month, onsick leave, but if and when you would ever be in the neighbourhood, we'll be having some beers for sure..... anxiously waiting for your finished Cheyenne....... regards, Jack
  6. Hi Chris, on top of all the others you may have the issue i've got "hanging around and doing nothing", but i would need your snail mail addy. "ARADO ar234, der eerste Strahlbommber der Welt.....LuftfahrT dokumente LD21" have fun building, jack.
  7. correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the cockpit floor the actual top of the main wing going thru the fuselage, which means it's slightly curved? HTH Jack.
  8. Now, this is what i call LARGE SCALE PLANES......you made a real upgrade in scale, Saso.. Lots of succes in 2007 and many happy landings. regards, Jack

  10. very very nice and inspiring Jay, i'll be watching this one reeeeaaaaal close.... BTW, how was the tail on your kit looking, mine is a bit bent, just a bit, but i was trying to locate the LSP article on how to adjust these little shortcomings, i.e. how to use warm or hot water or even cold afterwards to get the warp out of a piece of resin..... Can anyone be of assistance? happy modeling, Jack
  11. Thanks Neil and Flip, but every time i sent an email to Paul, it bounces right away, so i don't know what the problem is. But i'm getting a bit anxious, because my order wasn't only the Fury but also the twoseat Cougar, and that is a considerable price tag hardly to be ignored. Jack.
  12. Hi Neil, hope you enjoy building the fury, you might try the Warbird Tech series, but even there the cockpit interior is sparsely displayed. BTW, i ordered the fury in august this year, but didn't hear of it since, might i ask when did you order and receive the kit? HTH Jack.
  13. Chris, what can i say: UNGLAUBLICH....sehr gute arbeit,.....i'm sure you'll be succesfull at the expo, have lots of fun and ofcourse beer, unfortunately i won't be able to visit your event at the Bodensee (again...doh!!!), as a matter of fact i will not even be able to visit our IPMS nationals (same date), so i'll just have to hope for next year. Enjoy!!!! regards, Jack.
  14. ..hey starfighter....that's one really goooooood looking Tiger you built, i've always liked the F5, in any version you might see, congrats, it's a real show stopper... J.
  15. Paul, thanks for the "heads-up" on the SeaFury, hope to be seeing the kit soon. regards, jack.
  16. These pics are really "bright and shining" so to speak, but one thing that wonders me, why a couple of years ago some harmless "spotters" were arrested in Greece, being charged with espionage, and right now all bans have apparently been lifted????? I know of these pictures, of all the possibilities for the public, but strangely, the NATO airbase Geilenkirchen, homebase of AWACS, is still blurred out, whereas every "Tom-dick-and-harry" may pass overhead and take pictures to their hearts' delight (ok, i know officially you'll need permission by the department of defence to take pics out of an aircraft, DUH!!!), but it's funny to be confronted with "different" rules in different times and in different situations and i might say different "law" makers.........just think about it..... my two pennies..... jack.
  17. Hi guys, maybe this drawing will help, used it myself on the Golden Hawk conversion, which used the F86F-30 version. regards, Jack
  18. Hi Lee, still looking good, at least you went ahead and are about to finish this project, i still have to start it....... But did you also remember your promise to sent me another canopy, since mine was bent?....i don't want to rush but i won't be able to "adjust" the old one, the crack is just too sharp, i'm sorry to say.... Anyhow, your progress is inspiring and makes me want to dig in the Cheyenne as well, hopefully as splendid as yours.!!! regards, jack.
  19. Well, being of polish descent i'd take number 3......... Jack.
  20. ok, Alan, sorry, i didn't notice your thread at an earlier stage, but this one is right back at ye: TYROLEAN AIR TO THE MAN IN THE TOWER, TURNING DOWNWIND WITH PLENTY OF POWER, THE ONLY THING WE NEED IS YOUR SPOKEN WORD, TO END THE TRIP OF THIS MAGIC BIRD...... have a great holiday..... J.
  21. djeez Alan, T28???...where did you catch that flight? RedBull????? must indeed have been awesome...
  22. Well i'm sure if there's a train, it won't be running over ye, that Cheyenne is really looking sharp... So on the subject of rotors, it would be a waste of time (and spare kits...) to try and use four Revell Apache blades?? what do ye say? regards Jack. ps: PM inbound.
  23. Hi Lee, was wondering how you did the rotorhead, did you build it up from a template and fill in the separate details, what model/drawing(s) did you use and are the rotorblades from other 1/32 helos? Sorry for the quest-attacks, but i was figuring this out myself, but got stuck with "upscaling" rotorhead drawings which didn't work out..... How does the canopy casting go sofar, any progress?? Man, you're kit is coming together REALLY fine, his masters' touch... Have a good one, Jack.
  24. Hi Lee, Sorry for the belate response, was away for a few days, but i think the thicker canopy, the .030", would just be perfect. Also the chance getting it dented by any circumstance is small being it a bit thicker than usual, so yes, i would be very pleased having a copy for my Cheyenne to come.... BTW, your model is looking very, very good. I hope to be doing it justice myself when i get started eventually. cheers, Jack.
